  • Patent number: 11936060
Abstract: A power supplying device that can be used during emergencies is disclosed. The device comprises multiple adjustable battery compartments that can be connected, via switches, to deliver power to an external device connected to at least one power delivery port of the power supplying device. Each adjustable battery compartment includes a fixed lead and a sliding lead so that the multiple different battery sizes can be inserted into the compartment and connected to the device. An external battery connection device or harness can also be used with the power supplying device. The external battery connection device can be used to connect various different kinds of batteries with the power supplying device, such as cordless power tool batteries, cordless appliance batteries, and batteries for radio controlled (RC) devices.

  • Patent number: 6332332
Abstract: A roof-mounted evaporative air conditioner is disclosed. The air conditioner includes a housing defined by a base which conforms to the pitch of the roof and includes an outlet for air to flow from the housing into ductwork; a plurality of vertical side walls having water absorbent panels that define an inlet for air to flow into the housing; and a top wall. The air conditioner further includes a water distribution system for supplying water to the panel(s) and a fan assembly for drawing air into the housing via the panel(s) so that the air is cooled by evaporating water in the panel(s).

  • Patent number: 5979433
Abstract: A heater for heating a stream of air has a burner assembly to heat the stream as it flows along a flow path and a primary heat assembly positioned in the flow path and coupled to the burner assembly for conducting gaseous combustion products. The primary heat exchange assembly has an array of U-shaped heat exchange tubes for conducting hot combustion products generated by the burner assembly to an array of second U-shaped heat exchange tubes for combustion products discharged from the first heat exchange tubes, the second tube having a smaller diameter than the first and being positioned in the space defined by the array of first U-shaped heat exchange tubes. Combustion products leaving the primary heat exchange assembly are passed through a secondary heat exchange assembly before being exhausted.
