  • Patent number: 10584565
Abstract: A device for perforating a perforating gun body, while leaving adjacent tubulars unperforated, adapted for situations where it may be desirable to use a perforating gun with a loaded number of shaped charges that is less than its full capacity.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 21, 2015
Date of Patent: March 10, 2020
    Assignee: Hunting Titan, Inc.
Inventors: Timothy G. Golian, William Richard Collins, Shane Matthew Wilson
  • Publication number: 20190368319
Abstract: A link jet system using a combination of a one piece cast zinc alloy case and interlocking linked shaped charges for minimizing debris left in a downhole wellbore when fired, reducing components in system, and providing an easy method for changing the shaped charge phase.
    Type: Application
    Filed: August 12, 2019
    Publication date: December 5, 2019
    Applicant: Hunting Titan, Inc.

  • Patent number: 4314614
Abstract: An improved safe-arm method and apparatus is provided for preventing unwanted detonation of shaped charge perforating guns while in storage and in transport, yet providing quick and easy arming at the well site. An interrupter member is inserted within an air gap between an ignitor section and an explosive charge section. To ready the perforating gun for use, a lanyard connected to the interrupter and extending externally from the perforating gun housing is pulled, removing the interrupter from the gap and arming the perforating gun section.
