  • Publication number: 20220178138
Abstract: A barrier system for partitioning a space includes panels which interlock with each other to provide a barrier that is fire rated. The interlocking panels are assembled in the barrier in columns using a tongue and groove assembly and a panel lock using a strike and latch supported by the tongue member and groove member, respectively. Each panel includes a peripheral frame (that is shaped to provide the tongue and groove members), opposed steel side faces mounted to the peripheral frame, and an insulation block filling an interior space delimited by the peripheral frame and the opposed steel side faces. The insulation block includes a pair of insulating material layers that sandwich a radiant barrier layer. A floor module supports a bottom edge of the panel and an interface module supports a side/top edge of the panel. The floor/interface modules are configured with telescoping sections and are length trimmable.

  • Publication number: 20210238845
Abstract: A barrier system for partitioning a space is formed by panels which interlock with each other to provide a barrier that is fire rated. The interlocking panels are assembled in the barrier in columns which include at least two panels. A first horizontal joint between two panels of the barrier in a first column is vertically offset from a horizontal joint between two panels of the barrier in a second column that is adjacent to the first column at a vertical joint. Each panel is made of a laminated structure including a supporting frame around a core layer, barrier layers on opposed surfaces of the core and skin layers on the barrier layers. Tongue and groove construction interlocks the panels and a locking structure formed by a tapered hook in the groove engaging into a slot of the tongue locks horizontally adjacent panels to each other.

  • Patent number: 10041249
Abstract: A wall for partitioning space within a building comprises interconnected barriers. For adjustable height, each barrier comprises a lower panel and a slidable and overlapping upper panel. Barriers are interconnected at vertical edges by a combination of rigid pins and slots or by hinge assemblies. Mating male and female parts of a hinge assembly attach to both panels of adjacent barriers with adjustable heights, and enable selective angling of barriers relative to each other. A filler barrier, for filling a space along a wall that is less or more wide than a standard width barrier, has sliding inter-nested frame parts that attach to the two panels of a standard barrier. A clip secures the top of a barrier to the grid of a suspended ceiling.

  • Publication number: 20070093736
Abstract: An S-shaped arcuate rod with an appliance or applicator on its lower terminal end to assist a person in washing, scrubbing, or scratching his back and for applying a dry or wet cleanser, lotion and/or conditioner to his back. The S-shape rod of the invention is easily grasped at various points along its curved shape, usually with one hand in the upper loop and the other hand along the middle of the S-shape, to define incremental hand positions. The various hand positions change the angle and fulcrum points which facilitate the comfortable placement and pressure applying action of the appliance or applicator.

  • Patent number: 6525333
Abstract: A system and method of the present invention allows the inspection of an object having an annular opening, such as a container or can, and uses a plurality of cameras that acquire grayscale images of arcuate sectors that together comprise a circumferential area within the opening. A processor is connected to the plurality of cameras for receiving the grayscale images and determining defects within the container based on contrast differences and grayscale intensity. The invention allows smart analysis of defects using qualitative inspections and quantitative measurements at higher speeds.
