  • Publication number: 20170220179
Abstract: A first electronic device comprising a plurality of connectors is disclosed. The device detects that at least one connector of a second electronic device has been connected to at least one of its connectors of the first electronic device. The first device determines that the second electronic device is in an identified position proximate the first electronic device, the identified position being one of a plurality of possible positions for connecting with the first electronic device, the possible positions being defined by the plurality of connectors of the first device. The first electronic device detects a gesture on its sensing surface. The gesture includes a swipe between a first position proximate the second electronic device and a second position, and is detected to extend across a confirmation boundary on the sensing surface. In response to detecting the swipe extending across the confirmation boundary, an indication confirming an inferred gesture across the first and second device is provided.
