Abstract: A technology is described for distributing a configuration file to network addressable devices. An example method may include receiving a configuration customization that is to be applied to the configuration settings of a non-configured network addressable device. A configuration file may be updated with the configuration customization. A request may be received to transmit the configuration file so that the configuration file may be applied to the configuration settings of the non-configured network addressable device.

Abstract: A technology to schedule a virtualized computing resource is described. A scheduling request electronic message is received. The scheduling request electronic message has a resource identifier, an action and a trigger condition. The scheduling request is authenticated by verifying a sender of the scheduling request is on an approved list defined for the virtualized computing resource, using an electronic challenge sent to a requestor of the scheduling request electronic message. An action is performed on the virtualized computing resource referenced by the resource identifier when the trigger condition is met.

Abstract: Current methods for providing automated scaling of network resources require tracking a specific metric and based on that metric exceeding a specified limit, provisioning additional resources. By providing additional control functionality for enabling customers to select parameters to use for automated resource scaling, customer systems can automatically and dynamically receive additional resources based on the selected parameters.
