Publication number: 20070235963Abstract: A storage container having a bin and a lid is provided. The bin has a base panel, a front panel and a rear panel extending upward from the base panel, and two side panels extending upward from the base panel and spanning between the front and rear panels. A storage space is defined by the volume above the base panel and between the side panel, the front panel and the rear panel. The side panel, front and rear panels flare outwardly, extend from the base panel, and define a storage space that is smaller in cross sectional area proximate the base panel than proximate upper ends of the side panel. The lid has a top panel with a perimeter and a lip extending downwardly from the perimeter, and the lip flares outwardly as it extends downwardly from the perimeter of the top panel to facilitate vertical nesting of a plurality of like lids.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 28, 2006Publication date: October 11, 2007Inventors: Timothy Killinger, Patrick Flanagan, Justin Guthrie, Michael Pyle

Publication number: 20070176358Abstract: Document storage trays are disclosed that may be stacked in at least two different configurations including a “nesting” stack where an upper tray fits within the storage area of a lower tray and, in turn, is also able to receive a tray within its own storage area so that multiple trays can be stacked nested together. The document storage trays may also be stacked in a vertical configuration and the trays include appropriately placed slots, detents, bosses and legs for a stable vertical stacking configuration so that multiple trays may be stacked one on top of another and form a stable structure. At least one embodiment further enables the trays to be stacked in a cascaded form so that front edges of the trays are staggered laterally from the bottom tray to the top tray. At least one embodiment includes a built-in collating function so that each tray is able to receive documents from one of two different and perpendicularly oriented sides.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 29, 2006Publication date: August 2, 2007Inventors: Timothy Killinger, Matthew Lerch, Aaron Smith, Gilberto Cavada, Melanie Conklin

Publication number: 20070045145Abstract: Horizontally nestable document holders having structure arranged such that, when nested with other similar document holders, all portions of the front-most document holder are arranged prominently of each corresponding portion of the remaining document holders nested therewith. The front-most document holder may be removed without compromising the stability of any of the remaining document holders with which it is nested, and without having to provide any support to the remaining document holders.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 1, 2005Publication date: March 1, 2007Inventors: Timothy Killinger, Aaron Smith

Publication number: 20050258063Abstract: An article holder has a bottom panel having a rear edge, a forward edge, and a pair of opposed side edges. The holder has a back wall that extends upward near the back edge of the bottom panel and has a lower edge, an upper edge, and a pair of opposed side edges. The back wall diverges from a plane that is substantially perpendicular to the bottom panel moving up and away from the bottom panel. A pair of side walls are spaced apart and opposed relative to one another, with one extending forward from a respective one of the side edges of the back wall and generally upward relative to a respective one of the side edges of the bottom panel. The pair of side walls diverge at least slightly away from one another both moving up away from the bottom panel and moving forward from the back wall. A storage receptacle is defined above the bottom panel, forward of the back wall and between the side walls. The storage receptacle has a width that is greater near the top edges of the side walls than near the bottom panel.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 1, 2005Publication date: November 24, 2005Inventors: Timothy Killinger, Matthew Lerch, Aaron Smith, Gilberto Cavada, Melanie Conklin

Publication number: 20050230330Abstract: A document sorter has a pair of laterally spaced apart side support beams. Each beam has a front end and a rear end. A plurality of generally vertically oriented dividers is spaced apart from one another along the beams. Each divider traverses a space between the side support beams and includes a front divider, a rear divider, and an intermediate divider therebetween. A storage space is defined above the side support beams between each adjacent pair of dividers. Each of the plurality of dividers has a portion positioned above an inner most edge of each of the side support beams. That portion has a width that is less than the space between the side support beams adjacent that divider. Each divider has laterally opposed ends connected one each to a respective one of the side support beams. The sorter can be stacked upon and nested with multiple like sorters.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 1, 2005Publication date: October 20, 2005Inventors: Timothy Killinger, Matthew Lerch, Aaron Smith, Gilberto Cavada, Melanie Conklin
