  • Publication number: 20210072937
Abstract: A method for customizing settings on a multi-function device (MFD) is disclosed. For example, the method is executed by a processor and includes monitoring user interactions with the MFD, determining that an interaction threshold is exceeded, customizing a setting on the MFD for the user in response to the interaction threshold being exceeded, and adjusting the setting from a default setting on the MFD in response to a subsequent login by the user on the MFD.

  • Patent number: 10827089
Abstract: A method for creating a consolidated work-flow on a multi-function device (MFD) is disclosed. For example, the method is executed by a processor and includes monitoring user interactions with the MFD, determining that an interaction threshold is exceeded, creating the consolidated work-flow for a particular user interaction with the MFD, and creating a short-cut associated with the consolidated work-flow, wherein the short-cut is to be displayed on a user interface (UI) of the MFD, wherein the consolidated work-flow is executed when the short-cut is selected.

  • Patent number: 10366086
Abstract: A method for sorting a group of managed devices includes querying a database of managed device with a sort query, such as an SQL query. The sort query captures an initial adjacency list in which managed devices are ordered, based on their respective parent device. Each of the managed devices is associated with a set of attributes. The initial adjacency list is sorted, e.g., using a depth-first search, based on at least one sorting criterion to generate a sorted adjacency list in which managed devices having a common parent device are reordered, based on respective attributes. The sorted adjacency list can be represented as a sorted directed graph, such as a directed tree. Modifications can be made to the sorted directed graph. A visualization of the sorted and optionally modified directed graph is output and/or a file is distributed to at least some of the managed devices, based thereon.

  • Patent number: 9332076
Abstract: A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and apparatus for setting a language of a remote device are disclosed. For example, the method determines connectivity information for interacting with the remote device, assesses a language setting of the mobile endpoint device, and sets the language of the remote device by sending the language setting of the mobile endpoint device to the remote device using the connectivity information.
