  • Patent number: 9830747
Abstract: A method of monitoring the health of a gas turbine engine of at least a pair of engines of an aircraft for example. The method comprising the steps of: a) obtaining steady state readings from predetermined sensors on the engines; b) calculate a percentage difference of the steady state readings from a unique engine linear synthesis model for each engine; c) compare the difference between the percentage differences for each engine and d) where this difference exceeds a predetermined value issue a warning as to an engine health problem. Maintenance of the engine can therefore be advantageously scheduled.

  • Patent number: 8944929
Abstract: A golf grip pressure training device provides feedback based on grip pressure exerted on a golf club grip. The device includes a grip having a top end, a bottom end, and a perimeter wall coupled to and extending from the top end to the bottom end. The bottom end is open wherein the grip is configured for being coupled to a golf club by inserting the golf club into the bottom end of the grip. A plurality of pressure sensors is positioned in the grip. A plurality of indicators are also coupled to the grip. Each indicator is communicatively coupled to an associated one of the sensors wherein the indicator is actuated upon the associated pressure sensor detecting pressure on the grip. Each pressure sensor detects a unique amount of pressure on the grip wherein the indicators are sequentially actuated as pressure on the grip is increased.

  • Patent number: 7832152
Abstract: The present invention provides a system for adjusting a position of a post within a pile. The system includes a post including a vertical groove on one side and a vertical groove on another side for accommodating a sound wall panel. The system also includes a pile including a vertical bore into which the post is inserted. A set of three screws are spaced evenly around an exterior circumference of the post near a bottom of the post, wherein at least one screw contacts an interior circumference of the bore so as to adjust a position of the post within the bore. The system further includes a collar for fastening the post to a top of the pile at an opening of the bore.
