  • Patent number: 8599834
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for manual ring-down communication using Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). A first SIP user agent transmits a message to a second SIP user agent over an Internet Protocol (IP) network to establish a SIP session. The first SIP user agent determines that a signal key associated with a first communication device has been selected and transmits, to the second SIP user agent over the IP network, a start event message to cause a second communication device to activate an alert. The first SIP user agent determines that the signal key has been released and transmits over the IP network an end event message to deactivate the alert. The first SIP user agent transmits, to the second SIP user agent over the IP network, one or more subsequent INVITE messages at a predetermined repetition rate to refresh the SIP session.

  • Publication number: 20130242083
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for imaging a substrate through the use of retro-reflective optics and detecting any defects and patterns therein. Through the use of optical imaging, optical focusing is adjusted to capture optical effects of interest in the substrate with enhanced size, precision, clarity and image quality. Imaging data obtained from these images may then be analyzed. Both bright field image data and dark field image data are captured and analyzed to provide accurate and reliable imaging results. The invention is suitable for use in on-line, real-time detection of visual defects and pattern recognition or off-line for non-production use.

  • Patent number: 8363572
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for controlling calls and monitoring resource status for turret systems. A SIP message including at least one of a header field and an event package is received from a SIP user agent over a communication network. The header field includes a first parameter corresponding to a first call feature and the event package includes a second parameter corresponding to a second call feature. At least one of the first call feature and the second call feature is implemented by the softswitch or a SIP-enabled turret in response to the receiving.

  • Patent number: 8290138
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatus and computer program products are provided for sharing one or more resources across a turret system and a telephone exchange including an agent. The agent is configured to register into the telephone exchange as a predetermined device and to receive a state change notification of a resource from at least one of the telephone exchange and the turret system. Receipt of the state change notification causes the agent to change a state of a corresponding resource.
