  • Publication number: 20090270054
Abstract: A conversion device (CD) is dedicated to conversion of baseband analog I/Q input signals into RF signals in a transmitting path of a wireless communication equipment.
    Type: Application
    Filed: December 8, 2005
    Publication date: October 29, 2009

  • Patent number: 6236268
Abstract: The present invention relates to an amplifier comprising two transistors (Q1,Q2) arranged as a differential pair. According to the invention, a switch system for switching current and splitting up resistive branches ensures, in the case of unbalance of the differential pair (Q1, Q2), the conduction of the current flowing through each resistive branch towards the one of the two transistors (Q1) or (Q2) that is conductive. The gain and the maximum value of the amplitude of the output voltage of such an amplifier may thus be adjusted independently of each other.

  • Patent number: 6052009
Abstract: A flipflop, which is realized in an ECL or CML technique, has an internal output for the logic signal in a symmetrical mode and is provided with two transistor followers for supplying the two output signal components from the internal output, and each of these two transistor followers is one of the transistors of an enforcing pair, while the base of the other transistor is connected to a test signal input.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 22, 1997
Date of Patent: April 18, 2000
    Assignee: U.S. Philips Corporation
    Inventor: Timothy Ridgers
  • Patent number: 5488329
Abstract: A stabilized voltage generator circuit of the band-gap type for generating a reference voltage (Vref) which is independent of the supply voltage (Vcc) and the temperature comprises a cell whose transistors, having different emitter areas, supply a current (I.sub.pt) proportional to the absolute temperature. The circuit includes an amplifier having an input stage of the folded cascode type, and an output stage adapted to provide symmetrical operation in order to eliminate first and second-order errors in the accuracy and stability of the reference voltage produced by the generator circuit.
