  • Publication number: 20240145831
Abstract: A battery pack includes a housing, a set of battery cells, and a latch assembly mechanism. The latch assembly mechanism includes a user activation button that pivots about a first axis and an engaging portion that pivots about a second axis, where the first axis is parallel to the second axis and the user activation button actuates the engaging portion. In another aspect, a battery pack includes a housing and a set of battery cells. The housing includes a top portion, a first side portion connected to the top portion, a second side portion connected to the top portion, the second side portion opposite the first side portion, and a bottom portion connected to the first side portion and the second side portion, the bottom portion opposite the top portion. An insert is molded into at least one of the first side portion and the second side portion.

  • Publication number: 20230222601
Abstract: In a computer-implemented method for automated management of correspondence related to an insurance claim, an evaluation trigger (e.g., occurrence of a pre-scheduled time, a triggering event associated with the claim, and/or reception of an evaluation request from an application) may be detected and, in response, an evaluation may be performed. Performing the evaluation may include retrieving one or more data elements from a claims database, and/or generating evaluation output data by processing the retrieved data element(s) according to a first set of rules implemented by a rules engine. Based upon the evaluation output data, at least one action may be selected from among a set of potential actions. The set of potential actions may include automatically generating correspondence (or selected portions thereof) associated with the claim and scheduling a future evaluation. The selected action may then be performed using a second set of rules implemented by the rules engine.

  • Publication number: 20020089075
Abstract: A steamed humidifier for use with a forced air heating system includes a steam nozzle mounted in the plenum of the heating system and connected to a water feed line connected to a continuous pressurized water source. The water feed line is made of a thermal conducting material and is coiled about a heating element wherein the heating element and conductive coil are substantially surrounded by an insulation barrier. The water feed line is controlled by a solenoid operated valve that will be activated only when the heater is on and a humidistat detects that humidity is required by the area being serviced by the forced hot air system.

  • Patent number: 4629211
Abstract: This invention relates to a wheel supported heavy load carrying vehicle which comprises a frame upon which a load may be supported. The frame includes a structural cross-member. Unlike the prior art, the spherical bearing is made an integral part of the cross-member. An axle box assembly is used to support the wheels which support the bulk of the load. The box assembly has a nose cone which has a concave bearing which mates with the spherical bearing on the structural cross-member.
