  • Patent number: 9346137
Abstract: A machine tool including a tool spindle, to which a tool can be detachably fixed and by means of which the tool can be rotated, and a workpiece support is provided, the tool spindle and the workpiece support being displaceable relative to one another, characterized in that the tool spindle includes a loading device, which acts on a linearly movable rod of a tool fixed to the tool spindle. The tool spindle includes a motor device coupled to the loading device, which drives linear displacement of the rod. The machine tool includes a set of tools by means of which different machining operations can be conducted on a workpiece, wherein the tools can each be fixed to the tool spindle and the tools each have a rod on which the loading device of the tool spindle acts when a tool is fixed to the tool spindle.

  • Patent number: 8381695
Abstract: A workpiece has a tribologically useable surface formed as a sliding surface, lubricated by an intermediate material, for a counterpart movable relative to the workpiece in a direction of movement. The sliding surface is provided with a structure formed of a plurality of pockets. The pockets form a closed micropressure chamber delimited by the uninterrupted peripheral rim, respectively. The uninterrupted peripheral rim is a deburred structure edge. In a plan view, the pockets are elongate and have a longitudinal extension. The sliding surface has a functional roughness in the supporting areas between the pockets.

  • Patent number: 7472467
Abstract: Method for frictionally connecting the front surfaces of two machine components (1?, 2?; 2?, 3?; 3?, 4?) for transmitting high torques or transverse forces, wherein elevations (20) are provided on one (1?, 2?, 3?) of the surfaces (1?, 2?; 2?, 3?; 3?, 4?) to be connected, which are harder than the material of the other surface.

  • Publication number: 20080308750
Abstract: Method for treating the surface of a workpiece with a tribologically stress-resistant surface, wherein the surface is honed in at least one step and pockets are subsequently introduced using laser structuring, wherein laser structuring is effected via ultrashort pulses having a pulse duration of less than 100 ps.

  • Publication number: 20050155451
Abstract: A connecting rod (1) has a small connecting rod eye (2) and a large connecting rod eye (3). A bearing shell (4, 5) is disposed in at least one connecting rod eye (2, 3), wherein the bearing shell (4, 5) is held in the connecting rod eye (2, 3) for secure mutual rotation therewith. To obtain good adhesion of the bearing shell (4, 5) in the connecting rod eye (2, 3), the bore surface (12, 13) in one connecting rod eye (2, 3) and/or the outer surface of a bearing shell (4, 5) has/have a structure (6, 7, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 37, 38), wherein the structure (6, 7, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 37, 38) is formed by elevations (9), the elevations (9) delimiting the outer periphery of depressions (8). In a method for producing a connecting rod (1) comprising at least one connecting rod eye (2, 3) with a structured surface (12, 13), wherein a bearing shell (4, 5) is disposed in the connecting rod eye (2, 3) after structuring of the surface, the surface (12, 13) is structured with a laser.
