  • Publication number: 20230166609
Abstract: A storage device (20) is provided for a charging cable that can charge an electrically drivable motor vehicle. The motor vehicle has a trunk (10) with side wall (16). A recess (22) for receiving the charging cable is formed in the side wall (16) and a receiving unit (24) is fastened detachably in the recess (22). The receiving unit (24) can be moved from a closed position, in which the receiving unit (24) is received in the recess (22), to an open position, in which the receiving unit (24) is positioned at least partially out of the recess (22). A receiving opening (26) of the receiving unit (24) is covered by the side wall (16) in the closed position and is accessible for the charging cable in the open position. The separate and detachable receiving unit (24) permits simple storing of a charging cable in an easy-to-clean storage device (20).

  • Patent number: 11090878
Abstract: A method for producing a composite component, which has a first section and a second section connected to the first section, the first section including a metallic material, the second section including a plastic, the first section having a first base region and projections provided on the first base region, and the projections provided on the first base region being anchored in the second section in order to bring about the connection between the first section and the second section, includes: manufacturing the first base region of the first section; creating the projections directly on the first base region by way of an additive manufacturing method; and connecting the second section to the first section.

  • Patent number: 10556385
Abstract: A composite component for a motor vehicle includes a first section; and a second section connected to the first section. The first section comprises a metallic material. The second section comprises a plastic. The first section has a first base region and projections provided on the first base region, wherein the projections provided on the first base region extend from the first base region to the second section. The projections provided on the first base region have undercuts, and the projections provided on the first base region are anchored in the second section in order to bring about the connection between the first section and the second section.

  • Patent number: 10053152
Abstract: A sill for a body structure of a vehicle, in an installed state, extends substantially in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Outer, middle and inner sill parts are each of shell-like or hat-like cross section and have respective sill strengths. The outer sill part and the inner sill part are connected to one another at respective upper and lower ends thereof via flanges. A middle sill part is positioned between the outer sill part and the inner sill part. The middle sill part is connected at least to the inner sill part. At least in a region of a front section as viewed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, the outer sill part has a strength which is lower than a mean strength of the sill, which is dependent on the outer sill strength, the inner sill strength and the middle sill strength and masses thereof.
