  • Publication number: 20240174550
Abstract: A glass composition includes oxides which form non-volatile fluorides at a temperature of 150° C. and a pressure of 5 Pa or less and are present in an amount of less than 0.5 mol % in the glass composition, based on all oxides present in the glass composition. A working point of the glass composition is 1400° C. or less. The glass composition has a hydrolytic resistance characterized by a leachability of GeO2, P2O5 and/or B2O3 from the glass composition determined as concentrations in an eluate prepared according to ISO 719 of at least one of the following: less than 70 mg/l GeO2 in the eluate per 1 mol % GeO2 in the glass composition; less than 70 mg/l P2O5 in the eluate per 1 mol % P2O5 in the glass composition; or less than 300 mg/l B2O3 in the eluate per 1 mol % B2O3 in the glass composition.

  • Publication number: 20240162690
Abstract: A solid state power switch assembly of an aircraft solid state power controller includes a circuit board, at least one solid state power switch, and a busbar. The at least one solid state power switch has a first side and an opposing second side. A power switch electric contact surface is formed on the first side and the at least one solid state power switch is arranged on the circuit board with the second side facing the circuit board and the first side facing away from the circuit board. The busbar comprises at least one busbar contact portion configured for electrically contacting the power switch electric contact surface and at least one busbar mounting portion, which is configured for be mounted to the circuit board, so that the at least one solid state power switch is sandwiched between the at least one busbar contact portion and the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 10012595
Abstract: A test glass changer for optically measuring layer properties in a vacuum coating system including a movable substrate holder for guiding a substrate through a stream of coating material; a mount connected to a rotary spindle and rotatable relative to the substrate holder about the rotary spindle; and a control device directing a test glass element into a ray path of an optical measuring device and into a stream of the coating material. The mount has at least two recesses offset eccentrically with respect to the spindle for one test glass element in each case. The control device can induce a rotational movement of the mount about the spindle. The centering device can exert a torque and holding moment on the mount to bring a test glass element arranged in one of the recesses into a measuring position of the measuring device. Related methods are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20160049018
Abstract: A device for collecting vehicle on-board diagnostics (OBD) data is disclosed, together with an associated method of collecting OBD data in such devices. In embodiments, the OBD data collection device includes a connector 8 for connecting the device to a vehicle OBD port to receive OBD data and power and a processor 10 for controlling collection of the OBD data. The processor 10 is arranged to determine a vehicle engine state by monitoring a voltage at the connector 8, taken in combination with OBD data relating to vehicle speed and/or engine revolutions. Such devices are able to reliably detect both engine ‘on’ and ‘off’ states in modern vehicles that use “smart charging” technology.

  • Publication number: 20070260328
Abstract: A prosthesis joint including a base, a coupling element for attachment to a body part or a prosthesis section, which is attached to the base, and an attachment device for attachment to a prosthesis device, which is coupled to the base and pivotable around at least one axis. A locking device is coupled to the coupling element and operates to selectively block and enable movement of the attachment device with respect to the base providing locked and unlocked positions, respectively. A retention element is carried by at least one of the base and coupling elements and is elastically pre-stressed against the attachment device to provide a retention force for the attachment device so as to resist undesired pivoting movement.
