  • Publication number: 20220302791
Abstract: An electric motor of an AC-operated, handheld power tool, with a stator that has multiple windings that are accommodated in a laminated stator core and are electrically insulated therefrom with basic insulation, in which stator a rotor is supported so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation, wherein the rotor has a rotor shaft on which a laminated rotor core with a multiplicity of permanent magnets is held, which laminated rotor core is electrically insulated from the rotor shaft, characterized in that the stator is enclosed by a motor housing that is electrically insulated from the windings of the stator, and in that a supplementary electrical insulation is formed between the motor housing and the rotor shaft.

  • Publication number: 20210394329
Abstract: A power tool, in particular an angle grinder, having a drive motor accommodated in a housing which drives a rotor shaft, a tool spindle comprising a tool holder which is preferentially connected to the rotor shaft in a power-transmitting manner by a gearing, as well as a control switch for activating the drive motor, wherein the control switch comprises a first switching element which is pivotably mounted on the housing about a pivot axis between a first switch position for switching on the drive motor and a second switch position for switching off the drive motor, and a second switching element which is rotatable about a rotational axis between a locked position which blocks the first switching element from moving into the first switch position and a release position which enables the first switching element to move into the first switch position.

  • Publication number: 20210031327
Abstract: A gear head for a hand-held power tool for machining workpieces, in particular for an angle grinder. The gear head including a gear plate, a housing closable by the gear plate, in which a power take-off is accommodated, which is connectable to a drive of the hand-held power tool, the power take-off including a tool shaft protruding from the gear plate, which is at least partially surrounded by a safety guard fastenable to a gear flange of the housing. A securing lever locks the safety guard on the gear flange, the securing lever being adjustable around a pivot axis between a first position, in which the safety guard is rotatably fixedly connected to the gear flange and a second position, in which the safety guard is rotatable with respect to the gear flange against a force of a restoring element acting in a direction of the first position.

  • Patent number: 9225216
Abstract: An electric motor, in particular a motor which can be commutated electronically, is disclosed. The motor comprises a stator with a plurality of field windings which are wound at least in places from a winding wire, and further comprises a contact grid for making contact with the field windings, which contact grid has a plurality of conductor tracks which are insulated from one another, with the conductor tracks having contacts to which the winding wire is fixed, wherein the winding wire is cut through between specific contacts such that this results in the field windings being connected in a manner which is suitable for generating a rotating field when being powered by a suitable motor controller.

  • Patent number: 8844939
Abstract: An adapter for a power tool is disclosed which comprises a drive shaft that can be connected to an output shaft of the power tool in a rotationally fixed manner. There is a receiving connector on the power tool. On the adapter there is provided an assigned sleeve that can be pushed onto the receiving connector, and which comprises a clamping ring, which acts together with locking members in order to effect locking of the sleeve on the receiving connector when in a closed position, the clamping ring being held so as to be movable in the axial direction and being preloaded in the direction of the closed position. The locking members act together with the clamping ring in such a way that locking is effected automatically in the closed position when the adapter is pushed onto the power tool as far as the closed position, and a release of the adapter from the closed position can be effected through an axial movement of the clamping ring against its preload.
