  • Patent number: 10024412
Abstract: A transmission device with secondarily coupled power splitting, having hydrostatic and mechanical branches which can be summed by a summing gear system provided in the area of a central transmission shaft. At least two transmission ratio ranges, in the forward and reverse driving directions, can be obtained such that within the transmission ratio ranges the transmission ratio can, in each case, be varied continuously by a hydrostatic variator in the area of the hydrostatic branch. On the transmission input side, the central transmission shaft can directly couple a drive engine and functionally connect to both an auxiliary drive output shaft and a hydrostatic shaft of the variator, in the form of countershafts, and also to hydraulic pumps in the area of the transmission input. In the area of the transmission output, the central transmission shaft is coupled to a further hydrostatic shaft in the form of a countershaft.

  • Patent number: 7881858
Abstract: A method for the diagnosis of an exhaust gas recirculation system in an internal combustion engine, including providing a pressure difference reading, which gives a pressure difference in an air supply section of the internal combustion engine or a pressure difference over the exhaust gas recirculation system; determining a pressure difference reference value as a function of one or more operating variables of the internal combustion engine; and detecting a fault in the exhaust gas recirculation system as a function of the pressure difference reading and of the pressure difference reference value.

  • Patent number: 7066138
Abstract: A method and device for controlling an internal combustion engine in which a first variable characterizing the pressure in the combustion chamber of at least one cylinder in the internal combustion engine is detected by at least one sensor. A second variable is determined on the basis of the first variable. Features which are assigned to different partial injections are obtained by forming the difference within the second variable.

  • Patent number: 7063071
Abstract: A device and a method for controlling an internal combustion engine, where a first variable characterizing the pressure in the combustion chamber of at least one cylinder of the internal combustion engine is measured by at least one sensor. A second variable characterizing the energy released during the combustion is ascertained from the first variable. When a threshold value of the second variable is exceeded, a third variable characterizing the combustion process is detected.

  • Patent number: 6964257
Abstract: A method and device for controlling an internal combustion engine. A first variable is predefined on the basis of a signal of a combustion chamber pressure sensor or a structure-borne noise sensor. This first variable characterizes the combustion process in the combustion chamber of at least one cylinder of the engine. A second variable is read from a characteristics map; a manipulated variable for influencing the combustion process is predefinable from this second variable. The characteristics map and/or the second variable read from the characteristics map are adapted as a function of at least one feature which is determined on the basis of the first variable.
