  • Publication number: 20100200486
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating a medical liquid which includes a treatment machine having a coupling surface, with a cassette made of a hard part having liquid-conducting passages which are covered by a flexible film being able to be coupled to the coupling surface of the treatment machine. The invention furthermore relates to a corresponding medical cassette. In accordance with the invention, an air-free coupling of the flexible film of the cassette to the treatment machine is ensured in that air can be sucked out areally along a plane between the flexible film and the coupling surface during the coupling process and/or with a coupled cassette. The invention equally includes a method for coupling the cassette and a method for checking the leaktightness of the cassette via the vacuum control of the air suction.

  • Publication number: 20100197439
Abstract: A continuously variable transmission device comprising a variator and a secondary power splitting. For power splitting, a planetary gear set has a first shaft coupled to the transmission input, a second shaft of the gear set coupled a first shaft of the variator, and a third shaft of the gear set couples a second shaft of the variator. First and second shift elements are provided to switch between first and second gear ratio ranges. Via the variator, the gear ratio is continuously variable within the gear ratio range and the two gear ratio ranges overlap. To implement the first gear ratio range, the second shaft of the gear set is connected, via the first shift element, to the transmission output, and to implement the second gear ratio range, the third shaft of the planetary gear set is connected, via the second shift element, to the transmission output.

  • Patent number: 7751775
Abstract: A method transmits a message by radio from a transmitter to a receiver. In a first step, the transmitter transmits the message to a forwarding station. In a second step, the message is subsequently transmitted at the same time from the transmitter and the forwarding station to the receiver. A transmitter carries out the method.

  • Publication number: 20090299260
Abstract: The present invention relates to a PVC-free tube (100) for medical purposes comprising three layers (101, 102, 103) arranged one above another, wherein each of these layers contains a polyolefin, and wherein the inner layer (102) also contains at least 60% of a thermoplastic elastomer. The present invention further relates to a tube system comprising several tubes according to the invention, which are connected via connectors. The tube according to the invention makes it possible for the conveyance rate loss, for example in an extracorporeal blood circulation, to be less than 15%, preferably less than 10%.

  • Publication number: 20080125154
Abstract: According to the invention, a method for reducing interference in a radio communication system is proposed, wherein a user terminal is equipped with at least two antennas for receiving at least two signal streams using a space-time processing technique, wherein the at least two signal streams are received from at least two transmit antennas of at least two base stations, and wherein the at least two signal streams are distinguished by orthogonal sequences.

  • Publication number: 20070073901
Abstract: A sending station forms a send vector from a data vector having N elements by coding with an error correction code with an a-value modulation alphabet and Q elements, with a being a natural number equal to or greater than two, and sends the send vector to user equipment. The send energy able to be used for sending the send vector is distributed to the Q elements taking into consideration at least one characteristic of the error correction code such that the probability of an incorrect decoding of a receive vector received by the user equipment on the basis of the send vector sent is reduced.

  • Patent number: 6959010
Abstract: In the novel method for data transmission via a radio interface in a radio communications system, at least two data channels are assigned to one connection. Each data channel can be distinguished by an individual spread code. In addition to data symbols, midambles with known symbols are transmitted in a data channel. The number of midambles being used for the connection is less than the number of data channels. The method is particularly suitable for use in TD/CDMA 3rd generation mobile radio networks.

  • Patent number: 6781975
Abstract: In order to compatibly adapt a wireless telecommunication system with a CDMA, FDMA and TDMA multiple access component, particularly a hybrid “JD-CDMA” telecommunication system with respect to multiple access methods, to a GSM-specific/DECT-specific (micro-cell, macro-cell and/or Pico cell-specific) telecommunication system with respect to the air interface, signaling information fashioned as “stealing flag” for distinguishing between payload and signaling channels are first arranged such in a provided time slot structure that an asymmetrical division of the time slot data arises with respect to a training data block (midamble) of the time slot structure and, second, the transmission time duration for the provided time slot structure of a data element fashioned as “chip” and contained in the time slot structure is dimensioned such that this is a multiple of a predetermined clock frequency—for example, GSM/DECT-specific clock frequency—covering the numerical range

  • Patent number: 6606314
Abstract: In a method for data transmission in a radio communications system, a radio interface is subdivided into time slots for a transmission of bursts. In this case, the data are transmitted in data channels in a time slot, in which data channels can be distinguished by use of individual spread codes. A finite burst containing data symbols and at least one midamble with known symbols is used for data transmission in a data channel. At least one parameter is determined for the traffic conditions of the radio interface, and a ratio of a length of the midamble and a data part with data symbols is adjusted depending on the traffic conditions. The method is suitable in particular for use in 3rd generation TD/CDMA mobile radio networks.

  • Patent number: 6381260
Abstract: Data is transmitted via a radio interface in a radio communications system in that at least one subscriber signal is transmitted, which has an individual fine structure applied to it and, in addition to data symbols in data sections, contains a midamble with known symbols. The fine structures of the data sections and of the midamble differ. At the transmission end, a sum signal is produced which contains signal sections to which different fine structures are applied. The sum signal is filtered in at least one transmission filter and is transmitted via a transmission channel to a receiving radio station. A control device controls the addition so that different attenuation of the signal sections is compensated for by the filtering. The method is suitable, in particular, for mobile stations having a single or variable data rate, and for base stations for use in 3rd generation TD/CDMA mobile radio networks.
