  • Publication number: 20240175804
Abstract: A gas sensor for determining a concentration of at least one gas in a gas mixture includes: at least one intensity modulatable light source; a measuring section, into which the gas mixture to be investigated can be allowed to flow; and an essentially gas-sealed detection cell, wherein the gas sensor is embodied such that light emitted from the light source is radiated into a measuring section, wherein the intensity of the emitted light is modulated with a modulation frequency, which differs from the resonant frequency of a mode of the acoustic resonance of the detection cell by less than 0.5 times, especially less than 0.25 times, the half-width of the mode. Further, a method for determining the concentration of the at least one gas in the gas mixture uses the gas sensor.

  • Publication number: 20220219182
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a monitoring method for an application plant for applying an application agent for a painting plant for painting motor vehicle body components. The following are included: having the following steps: Determination of first raw sensor data representing an operating variable of the application plant, acquisition of first control signals for controlling the application plant, and extracting features from the first raw sensor data, the features comprising a reduced amount of data compared to the first raw sensor data and serving as a data basis for a machine learning algorithm.

  • Patent number: 10422305
Abstract: A device is provided for exhaust gas recirculation (EGR), in particular in diesel engines, from the exhaust gas tract into the fresh air path of the engine, wherein a cooling device connected to the cooling system of the engine is provided within an EGR section as an exhaust-gas (EG)/coolant heat exchanger, with which an EGR valve for proportioning the EG recirculation rate is associated. The EGR valve is connected to a coolant, and the cooling device comprises an EG pre-cooler and an EG main cooler connected downstream of the EG pre-cooler. The EGR valve is installed between the EG pre-cooler and the EG main cooler in a valve housing between the EG pre-cooler and the EG main cooler. A method for EGR is provided as well.

  • Publication number: 20190170043
Abstract: A muffler for single-cylinder diesel engines with an integrated oxidation catalyst is provided, such that the muffler is connected to the cylinder head of the engine, that the muffler housing is divided into two chambers, that is, an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber, by means of an intermediate wall and that the oxidation catalyst is secured in the intermediate wall such that it fludically connects together both chambers.
