  • Patent number: 10866061
Abstract: A multi-axis firearm foregrip which is highly adjustable and which enables a firearm to be held or supported in a position which is ergonomic for the user or appropriate for use of the firearm. The foregrip may be rapidly adjusted to a selected one of many different positions as deemed appropriate by the user to enable optimal use of the firearm. The foregrip comprises a mount, a handle and a joint. The mount may be engageable to the firearm, for example to a rail system of the firearm. The handle is adjacent to the mount. The joint engages the handle to the mount and allows for handle movement relative to the mount. In embodiments, the foregrip utilizes a ball-and-socket joint which enables swiveling movement of the handle relative to the mount providing a wide range of handle adjustment before the handle is held at the selected position by the foregrip.

  • Patent number: 10265840
Abstract: An adjustable fastener-driving tool support system. The support system supports the fastener-driving tool on a top surface of a flooring element to repeatably drive fasteners at a consistent position and angle into either a tongue side or a groove side of the flooring element. A support system includes an elongate channel member, a base and a holder mechanism. A guide member secured with respect to the channel member may also be provided. The base is configured to rest on the top surface of the flooring element to support the channel member at a downward angle with a driving end fastener outlet extending below a bottom surface of the base. Movement of the base along the channel raises or lowers the driving end fastener outlet and guide member so that the guide member can contact the flooring element during fastener driving to support the tool and so that the driving end fastener outlet is positioned relative to the flooring element for fastener driving.

  • Patent number: 9624954
Abstract: A plural tapered fastener with a material receiving inward region. Fastener embodiments have particular utility in penetrating and securing work pieces of high density material, such as medium density fiberboard and high density fiberboard, without blemishing of the workpiece. A fastener may have a head and a shank extending from the head with an axis being defined by the shank and head. A head projection extends from a proximal end to a distal end away from the axis. A tapered portion is provided in the shank which tapers the shank axially inward to the head to define a material-receiving tapered inward region. A further tapered portion is provided along a lower leading edge of the head projection. During fastener driving, the inward region receives displaced workpiece material and the tapered head projection better penetrates the workpiece providing for more complete fastener driving with minimized blemishing of the workpiece.

  • Patent number: 8434738
Abstract: Jack-type tools for moving elements such as flooring elements by pulling and, alternatively, by pushing are shown and described. In an embodiment, the jack includes a base, a puller pivotably attached to the base, a ram extendable from the base, and a ram-drive mechanism in power-transmission relationship with the ram which is operative to extend the ram. The pivotably attached puller contacts a flooring element side portion during a pulling mode of operation and pivots out of the way so that the jack can push a flooring element during a pushing mode of operation. The ram extends from the base against a fixed surface such as a wall or cabinet to apply a force which pulls the flooring element with the puller to move the puller and flooring element away from the fixed surface and, alternatively, a force which pushes the flooring element by extension of the ram with the tool secured with respect to a subfloor or other support.
