Publication number: 20240086821Abstract: A computer is used to generate dynamic supply chain delivery options for a product. Data is received at the computer, regarding a delivery of a product to a customer, the delivery is implemented using a delivery system. A change in a delivery time or location of the product is determined using the computer based on updated data received at the computer. A simulation is generated, using the computer, of simulated delivery plans based on the received data and the updated data. The simulated delivery plans are evaluated to determine an updated delivery plan based on parameters. The updated delivery plan is selected based on the parameters, and communicated to the delivery system.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 14, 2022Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: Christian Compton, Todd Russell Whitman, Jeremy R. Patent number: 11227197Abstract: Identifying words to accurately describe, with a range of specificity, an image is provided. A vector space corresponding to the image is generated using a convolutional neural network to extract a hierarchy of features ranging from broad to specific from the image. Closest vocabulary ranging from broad to specific are identified for the image using Huffman coding on the vector space. Accurate words ranging from broad to specific are identified that describe the image based on vocabulary output of the Huffman coding on the vector space. The accurate words ranging from broad to specific describing the image are output.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 2018Date of Patent: January 18, 2022Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Craig M. Patent number: 10887292Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide techniques for improvements in electronic communications. A mobile electronic device associated with a user measures crowd density proximate to the user. When the crowd density exceeds a threshold, a haptic signal, such as a vibration or pneumatic output, is discretely provided to the user. After issuing the haptic signal, the device listens for false data. False data is data entered by the user that is not part of the expected data sequence. The false data is used to obfuscate the true data. The randomness of the false data can be used to generate a keypair used for communication. The keypair is used for asymmetric encryption that provides an extra level of security for electronic communications from the mobile electronic device.Type: GrantFiled: April 18, 2018Date of Patent: January 5, 2021Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: David C. Patent number: 10868799Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for securing data transmission. After determining that a message is being created to be sent from a sender to a receiver, the cognitive states of the sender and receiver are measured. A set of feature vectors for the sender and receiver is generated based on the cognitive states of the sender and receiver. The feature vectors are inputted into a long short term memory network, which selects an appropriate level of encryption (encryption strength, encryption algorithm, and mode of transportation in sending the message) to encapsulate the message utilizing the generated set of feature vectors. The message is then encapsulated using the selected level of encryption. In this manner, by using an appropriate level of encryption, the message is less likely to be accessible by unauthorized users thereby reducing the likelihood of unauthorized access or loss of valuable data.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2018Date of Patent: December 15, 2020Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Aaron K.
