Patent number: 8976004Abstract: An onboard apparatus control system is disclosed. The onboard apparatus control system includes a portable apparatus and an in-vehicle apparatus which controls an onboard apparatus according to position of the portable apparatus. From multiple transmitting antennae, the in-vehicle apparatus transmits pulse pattern signals with different transmission frequencies at an overlapping timing, so that the pulse pattern signals are radio waves whose intensities are changed stepwise according to different patterns. The portable apparatus receives the radio waves transmitted from the multiple transmitting antennae. The position of the portable apparatus with respect to the vehicle is determined based on a combined pattern of the received pulse pattern signals, which a receiving unit is to receive at location with respect to the vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: April 4, 2012Date of Patent: March 10, 2015Assignees: Denso Corporation, Nippon Soken, Inc.Inventors: Munenori Matsumoto, Akira Takaoka, Tohru Yamaguchi

Patent number: 6652154Abstract: At least one annular wall 6 into which a ferrule 5 for an optical fiber cable 30 is adapted to be inserted is provided in the housing 4 and exposed to the exterior. A protective frame wall 7 is provided on the housing 4 so as to project higher than the annular wall 6. The frame wall 7 is so arranged as to surround the annular wall 6, and projected upwardly and downwardly from both top and bottom sides of the housing 4. A top wall 9 for mounting a ferrule locking member 10 is formed integrally with the annular wall 6, and the top wall is positioned at the same height as the frame wall 7, and continued from the frame wall. There may be arranged a pair of the annular walls in parallel in proximity to each other. A receiving trunk 53 in a mating housing 48 continued to a light converting element 55 is adapted to be inserted into the annular wall 6, and the ferrule 5 is adapted to be inserted into the receiving trunk.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 2001Date of Patent: November 25, 2003Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Tsuguhito Shirakawa, Tohru Yamaguchi

Patent number: 5703325Abstract: A waterproof casing including a casing body which has a substantial box-shape and a lid which openably closes an open portion of the casing body. The casing body end the lid include respective first peripheral walls butted against each other to thereby prevent the intrusion of water into a receiving space for electrical parts, and also include respective second peripheral walls which are spaced outwardly from the first peripheral walls to form a space around the first peripheral walls, and are butted against each other, so that each of the joint portion between the first peripheral walls and the joint portion between the second peripheral walls forms a waterproof structure which limits the intrusion of water. The two joint portions are offset from each other in a vertical direction, and drain holes are formed through a bottom portion of the second peripheral wall of the casing body so as to reduce the pressure of a high-pressure water stream within the space and also to discharge the water from the space.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 1996Date of Patent: December 30, 1997Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Tohru Yamaguchi, Hiroaki Kamo
