  • Patent number: 5701691
Abstract: In an excavation area limiting control system for a construction machine for limitingly controlling an area to be excavated, a region where a front device 1A is movable is set beforehand. The position and posture of the front device are calculated based on signals from angle sensors 8a-8c, and a target speed vector of the front device is calculated based on detection signals from control lever units and load pressures detected by pressure sensors 270a to 271b. The target speed vector is modified so that a vector component of the target speed vector in the direction toward the boundary of the set region is reduced when the front device is within the set region near the boundary thereof, and the front device is returned to the set region when the front device is outside the set region. Control signals corresponding to the modified target speed vector are further modified depending on the load pressures and output to proportional solenoid valves 210a to 211b.

  • Patent number: 5673558
Abstract: For enabling a boom to be smoothly raised during the triple combined operation of boom-up, arm-crowd and bucket-crowd in a hydraulic circuit system for a hydraulic excavator, in a first valve group of a hydraulic valve apparatus (12), a variable throttle valve (70) is installed in a feeder passage (32) of a bucket directional control valve (21) downstream of a load check valve (32a), and a secondary pressure C as a boom-up operation command is introduced through a line (71) to a pilot control sector (70a) of the variable throttle valve (70) which sector operates in the throttling direction, so that when the secondary pressure C is 0 or small, the variable throttle valve (70) is fully opened and, as the secondary pressure C increases, an opening area of the variable throttle valve (70) is reduced to restrict the flow rate of a hydraulic fluid supplied through the bucket directional control valve (21).

  • Patent number: 5632190
Abstract: To provide a burglarproof device for a hydraulic machine which has a high degree of security against burglary, ensures high safety, and can be simply installed in a location where the device is hard to find for burglars, a solenoid valve 23 of a burglarproof device 20 is installed in a pilot primary pressure line 3 between a pilot hydraulic pump 1 and a pilot valve device 4. Unless ten numeral keys 21a of a key input device 21 are depressed in the order of the password, an unlocking electronic circuit 22K does not generate an unlock signal and the solenoid valve 23 keeps the pilot primary pressure line 3 cut off. Therefore, a pilot primary pressure from the pilot hydraulic pump 1 is shut off and, even with a manual lever 4c of the pilot valve device 4 operated, no pilot secondary pressure is produced and a main control valve 6 is kept standstill. As a result, a hydraulic cylinder 8 is not operated and the hydraulic machine is unable to move.

  • Patent number: 5575148
Abstract: A controller 24 includes function generators 151, 152. The function generator 151 is set to have such a characteristic that as the detected value P.sub.N of a negative control pressure from a pressure sensor 21 is reduced, a first target tilting amount .theta..sub.N increases from a minimum value to a maximum value, and the function generator 152 is set to have such a characteristic that as the detected value P.sub.B of a control input (pilot pressure) for driving a boom cylinder 6 is increased, a second target tilting amount .theta..sub.B increases from a predetermined minimum value to the same maximum value as the above maximum value. Minimum one of the two target tilting amounts from both the function generators is selected, and a proportional solenoid valve 25 is driven based on the selected minimum tilting amount.

  • Patent number: 5497805
Abstract: When an operator makes the reversing-lever operation by operating a control lever 4A in a direction x.sub.2 in the event a solenoid proportional valve 91A of a directional control valve 8A is failed to be left open, an operation position sensor 30A.sub.2 outputs a low-level signal and operation position sensors 30A.sub.1, 30B.sub.1, 30B.sub.2 output high-level signals. Therefore, an AND circuit 6b.sub.2 outputs a low-level signal and an AND circuit 6b.sub.1 outputs a high-level signal, whereupon a switch signal is output from an amplifier 6h to a solenoid switching valve 121 for shifting it to a right-hand position shown in FIG. 1 so that a pilot line 51 is kept communicated with a reservoir 97. No switch signal is output from the amplifier 6h to a solenoid switching valve 122 for holding it in a left-hand position shown in FIG. 1 so that the pilot line 52 is kept communicated with a pilot pump 96.

  • Patent number: 5479778
Abstract: When the pump pressure detected through a pressure detecting line 48 is raised higher than a first predetermined pressure Pd1, a recovery switching valve 44 is shifted to a valve-closed position to cease the recovery function. At this time, the pump delivery pressure detected through a pressure detecting line 51 is higher than a second predetermined pressure Pd1* close to the first predetermined pressure Pd1, and an engine speed increasing device 52 controls an engine controller 11 to increase the rotational speed of an engine 10, thereby increasing the pump delivery rate. Thus, it is possible to make small speed change of an actuator and to increase working efficiency with no deterioration in operability, even when a recovery function is ceased.

  • Patent number: 5394697
Abstract: An unloading valve is connected to a hydraulic pump, the unloading valve being opened when a differential pressure between a delivery pressure of the hydraulic pump and a maximum load pressure exceeds a predetermined value, for discharging a part of a flow rate of a hydraulic fluid delivered from the hydraulic pump to a reservoir. A control device for the hydraulic pump is constructed to reduce the delivery rate of the hydraulic pump as the control pressure generated by the fixed restriction is raised, and increase the pump delivery rate as the control pressure is lowered.
