    Abstract: A brake booster consisting of a power cylinder and a hydraulic cylinder in combination and a wear detector for detecting a predetermined extent of wear of a brake lining is disclosed, which comprises the wear detector being formed of a switch operating member provided with a spring at one end and adapted to be moved by the action of a power piston in the power cylinder, a switch to be actuated due to the movement of the switch operating member and means apparatus for exerting a pressure corresponding to the operating pressure of the power piston on the other end of the switch operating member so that the switch operating member can be moved by the action of the power piston through the spring.

    Abstract: A drum brake comprising a backplate. A pair of wheel cylinders and a pair of brake shoes are arranged on the front face of the backplate. The wheel cylinders are interconnected to each other via the brake oil tube. The brake oil tube extends from one of the wheel cylinders towards the other cylinder along the rear face of the backplate and is arranged to be spaced from the rear face of the backplate. A tube supporting member made of elastic non-metallic material is inserted between the central portion of the brake oil tube and the rear face of the backplate.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a disc brake for a vehicle comprising a hydraulic mechanism, a pair of friction pads disposed to face, respectively, both working surfaces of a brake disk to be rotated integrally with a wheel axis of the vehicle, a loosely fitted annular caliper plate disposed around the hydraulic mechanism and the friction pads and a pair of torque receiving arms arranged between the pads along the direction parallel to the wheel axis. A bridge member is spanned between free ends of the arms. An anti-rattle spring is disposed between the bridging member and the caliper plate.
