Abstract: A plug-type connector for pipelines, having a first and a second connection end, with a first connection end being in the form of a first support body, the first support body being provided with a closure ring, the closure ring and the first support body forming an annular space for accommodating a pipe end, and for securing the pipe end, which is inserted into the annular space in a clamping manner, against axially acting withdrawal forces. The plug-type connector is distinguished in that the closure ring has at least one latching projection or latching recess with which the clamping ring can be axially secured.

Abstract: A press fitting system for creating an unremovably sealed connection between smooth-ended pipes comprises at least one section that is embodied in a collar-type manner and at least one bead which is located on the terminal side of the collar-type section and accommodates at least one annular, rubber-elastic sealing element. The press fiting system is characterized by the fact that groove-shaped channels which communicate with each other like a maze in the unpressed state of the sealing element run through at least some areas of the surface of the sealing element, the channels being pressed against each other in an occluding manner when the sealing areas interrupted by the channels are in the pressed state.

Abstract: The invention relates to a press fitting system for creating an unremovably sealed connection between smooth-ended pipes. Said press fitting system comprises at least one section that is embodied in a collar-type manner and at least one bead which is located approximately on the terminal side of the collar-type section and accommodates at least one annular, rubber-elastic sealing element (5). The inventive press fitting system is characterized by the fact that groove-shaped channels (9) which communicate with each other like a maze in the unpressed state of the sealing element (5) run through at least some areas of the surface of the sealing element (5), the channels (9) being pressed against each other in an occluding manner when the sealing areas (8) interrupted by the channels (9) are in the pressed state.
