  • Publication number: 20080133218
Abstract: The present invention performs machine translation by matching fragments of a source language sentence to be translated to source language portions of an example in example base. When all relevant examples have been identified in the example base, the examples are subjected to phrase alignment in which fragments of the target language sentence in each example are aligned against the matched fragments of the source language sentence in the same example. A translation component then substitutes the aligned target language phrases from the matched examples for the matched fragments in the source language sentence.

  • Publication number: 20070145223
Abstract: A mounting apparatus includes a supporting member and a plurality of mounting arms, each having a secured segment disposed to be fixed to an upper wall of an electronic apparatus, and a cantilever segment with a key slot. The supporting member has a base disposed to be attached to a ceiling wall, and a post extending from the base to connect with a hanging member. The hanging member has a suspended major wall which is formed with a plurality of elongated slots that are angularly displaced from one another about a centerline and that are configured to define a plurality of fastening positions displaced from one another in radial directions. A plurality of tightening members are insertable through the key slots and the corresponding elongated slots to thereby enable the tightening members to force the cantilever segments of the mounting arms to abut against the suspended major wall.

  • Patent number: 6283190
Abstract: A programmable window blind assembly includes a window blind device having a pull cord unit connected operably to a blind unit. A motor drive unit includes a bi-directional motor that has a drive shaft coupled to the pull cord unit such that rotation of the drive shaft can result in movement of the blind unit. A sensor unit generates motor rotation signals for indicating angular speed and angular displacement of the drive shaft. A programmable data storage device has blind position information stored therein. A processor controls the motor to operate in a first direction for moving the blind unit to a retracted position and in a second direction for moving the blind unit to an extended position.
