  • Patent number: 11980413
Abstract: An interface joint with one or both of a needle actuation mechanism or an integrated shaft rotation mechanism. The interface joint comprises a flexible shaft between a housing and an electrosurgical instrument, e.g. for conveying power and/or fluid therebetween. The needle actuation mechanism comprises an actuation rod extending out of the housing and an actuator movably mounted on the housing. The shaft rotation mechanism comprises a rotation actuator rotatably mounted on the housing and operably coupled to the flexible shaft. Providing an integrated shaft rotation mechanism may obviate the need for a separate torque transmission unit. The improved needle actuation mechanism may use a pivoting connection to enable longer needle extension distances to be achieved for a given actuation distance.

  • Publication number: 20230292699
Abstract: In one aspect the invention is a milking platform (1) for a species of animal to be milked, comprising a deck divided into a series of bales (17), each bale having side and end barriers and being of sufficient size to receive only one animal (5) for milking. Each has a structure (2) (e.g. a box) arranged such that when the platform is in use with the animal to be milked the structure (2) extends upwards from the deck to a height below the animal's abdomen, is between the forelegs of the animal, starts in front of the forelegs and extends towards, but stops before, the hind legs of the animal such that there is sufficient space to fit a set of milking cups to teats of the animal.

  • Publication number: 20220335106
Abstract: A cloud-native content management system includes a content file system for storing digital content to be accessed via the Internet using a compute device. The system includes an authentication and authorization service that applies rules of granular access controls among a group of specified individuals. Using a token-based, temporary access process, authorized individuals are provided direct access to selected digital content in order to bypass time-restriction limitations that traditionally prevent the streaming of large data files. The system is additionally designed to support the interactive, online editing of stored software models by authorized users. As part of the modeling process, model change requests are submitted by authorized individuals using user-intuitive, domain-specific language. Thereafter, the software model is temporarily locked while the change request is validated for correctness and compatibility.

  • Patent number: 10855024
Abstract: An electrical connector having electrical terminals and a housing. The housing has a terminal-receiving portion with terminal-receiving cavities for receiving the electrical terminals therein. At least one latch-receiving slot is positioned between adjacent terminal-receiving cavities. A cover portion is provided for covering the terminal-receiving cavities and the terminals. The cover portion has latches which cooperate with the at least one latch-receiving slot when the cover portion is moved to a closed position. A hinge portion connects the terminal-receiving portion to the cover portion. The hinge is deformable to allow the cover portion to move between an open position in which the terminals can be inserted and removed from the terminal-receiving cavities of the terminal-receiving portion and the closed position in which the terminals are secured in the terminal-receiving cavities of the terminal-receiving portion.

  • Patent number: 10090615
Abstract: A dielectric housing with a forward mating portion, a flange and a rear portion. The forward mating portion is receivable in a cutout in a mounting panel. The flange extends from the housing and is dimensioned larger than the cutout. The rear portion has a rear face with terminal-receiving cavities extending inwardly through the rear face. A top surface of the forward mating portion extends from the flange at an obtuse angle, the top surface is essentially perpendicular to a forward mating face of the forward mating portion of the housing. The terminal-receiving cavities extend from the rear face to the forward mating face, with the longitudinal axis of the terminal-receiving receiving cavities extending in a straight line. The forward mating face of the housing is angled relative to the flange and the mounting panel to prevent condensation from occurring on the forward mating face.

  • Patent number: 7083525
Abstract: A golf club head comprising an integral toe, heel and center section, with the center section including a cavity. The center section is structured so that the majority of the weight of the golf club head is positioned at the toe and heel. One embodiment of the golf club head includes an insert located in the cavity and a second insert is located in the golf ball striking face of the golf club head. The inserts, alone and in combination, increase the feel transmitted through the golf club head to the golfer.

  • Patent number: 6692378
Abstract: The present invention relates to a golf club having a golf club head with a channel on the head. The golf club head may be a putter-type club head that is used to putt the golf ball on a green. The use of the channel on the club head provides a mass distribution that can result in a high moment of inertia so that the club head resists twisting in the player's hand when the club head strikes a golf ball. The channel also assists a player in aligning the club head to strike a golf ball. The channel may be located on the upper face of the club head so that the player can see the channel when addressing a golf ball with the golf club. The channel extends from a front, strike face of the club head to a rear face of the club head and is preferably aligned with an axis that corresponds to the desired direction of travel of a golf ball that is struck with the club head.
