    Abstract: A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system for a cabin of a vehicle. The HVAC system includes a control module configured to operate the HVAC system in a two-layer airflow cooling mode by: operating a blower unit to draw the inside air and the outside air into the blower unit, and blow the inside air and the outside air through the blower unit into an air conditioning unit; and operating the air conditioning unit to cool the inside air and the outside air, and direct the cooled inside air and the cooled outside air out of the air conditioning unit through only the face opening portion.
