  • Publication number: 20240083299
Abstract: A method of safely controlling a compaction machine, specifically a method of safely controlling a vibratory compaction machine includes at least one vibrating roller connected to at least one electric movement drive of the machine and at least one electric vibration drive, a central machine control unit, a battery system and a control unit of the battery system, according to which the central control unit of the machine overrides the control unit of the battery system. A compaction machine whose central control unit of the machine is data-connected to a control unit of the battery system which is hardwired to at least one control convertor of at least one electric drive of the machine.

  • Patent number: 9959774
Abstract: Systems and methods for aiding in pilot awareness of obstacles relative to aircraft features. An exemplary processor receives sensor information from one or more sensors mounted in an aircraft feature (e.g. light modules), determines if at least one obstacle is located within a predefined field of view based on the received sensor or database information and generates an image. The image includes an ownship icon having at least one feature representing wingtips of the aircraft and at least one indicator associated with the determined at least one obstacle. A display device presents the generated image. The display device presents a tip of a first sense coverage area adjacent to one wingtip feature associated with the port wing and a tip of the second sense coverage area adjacent to one wingtip feature associated with the starboard wing. The indicator is presented within at least one of the coverage areas.

  • Patent number: 8958942
Abstract: Systems and methods are operable to present braking distance information to crew of an installation aircraft. An exemplary embodiment determines a braking distance for a braking maneuver of the installation aircraft, wherein the braking distance is based on a current ground speed of the aircraft; and generates a graphical representation that is presented on a display, wherein a location of a graphical icon on the graphical representation indicates the determined braking distance from the installation aircraft.

  • Publication number: 20040125926
Abstract: There is provided a method of modification of a message in a communication system and a device for execution of the method. After receiving a message, the message being delivered into a receiver communication unit through data communication means and stored in a storage unit, the receiving apparatus takes action to identify the sender with the message and based on that identification grants the sender an access to functions of modification and/or deleting a message stored in the receiver communication unit. The received message may be analyzed, and provided its parameters differ from required ones, the sender is invited to modify the message. There may be created an archive copy of a delivered message, which by menas of the access password has been modified and/or deleted by the sender.
