Abstract: Various embodiments described herein disclose an endpoint modeling and grouping management system that can collect data from endpoint computer devices in a network. In some embodiments, agents installed on the endpoints can collect real-time information at the kernel level providing the system with deep visibility. In some embodiments, the endpoint modeling and grouping management system can identify similarities in behavior in response to assessing the data collected by the agents. In some embodiments, the endpoint modeling and grouping management system can dynamically model groups such as logical groups, and cluster endpoints based on the similarities and/or differences in behavior of the endpoints. In some embodiments, the endpoint modeling and grouping management system transmits the behavioral models to the agents to allow the agents to identify anomalies and/or security threats autonomously.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to techniques for chaining, triggering, and/or enforcing entitlements in a constrained environment. A constrained environment may be provided within with shielded assets are required to exist or execute. An entitlement may be granted on a variety of shielded assets, including datasets, computations scripts, data privacy pipelines, and intermediate datasets generated by an intermediate step of a data privacy pipeline. Thus, a beneficiary may use a granted entitlement as an input into other data privacy pipelines, without the need for the grantor to approve each specific downstream operation. The constrained environment may enforce an entitlement by fulfilling applicable constraints upon accessing the entitlement, restricting the output of the entitlement to the constrained environment, and fulfilling applicable policies when executing downstream operations.

Abstract: The technical problem of predicting the level of activity driven by a web page representing a company in an on-line social network system is addressed by providing a company page assessment system. A company page assessment system is configured to use a machine learning model to determine features and respective thresholds that signal the likelihood of a web page representing a company (a company page) to drive member activity in the on-line social network system. The company page assessment system also provides the ability to assess quality of a company page. Different quality levels of a company page can be indicated by respective labels “Complete Page,” “Quality Page,” and “Engaged Quality Page.

Abstract: An optical system includes a scanning unit, a first lens-element group including at least a first lens element, and a focusing unit which is designed to focus beams onto a focus, wherein the focusing unit includes a second lens-element group including at least a second lens element and an imaging lens. The imaging lens further includes a pupil plane and a wavefront manipulator. The wavefront manipulator is arranged in the pupil plane of the imaging lens or in a plane that is conjugate to the pupil plane, or the scanning unit of the optical system is arranged in a plane that is conjugate to the pupil plane and the wavefront manipulator is arranged upstream of the scanning unit in the light direction. Abstract: Systems, devices, media, and methods are presented for identifying unread elements and presentation context to generate real-time indicators for the unread elements. The systems and methods receive an indication identifying a member and identify content for presentation to the member. The systems and methods determine one or more presentation parameters for the content and one or more content parameters for the content. The systems and methods generate a content representation of the content for presentation within a user interface based on the presentation parameters and the content parameters, and cause presentation of the content representation at the client device associated with the member.

Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus are provided for propagating a status among related events. A relationship component of the system maintains a graph of the related events and, upon assignment of a status to an event identifies one or more related events (e.g., the root event, other ancestor events, descendant events). A retention component of the system includes multiple nodes that maintain user records (e.g., sharded by user identifier) storing events associated with the members and that also maintain separate event status tables to identify statuses of selected events. For example, an event status table may store statuses of root events and/or other ancestor events from which a given subsequent event may inherit or derive a status. An event status may reflect a quality or characteristic of the event (e.g., spam, low quality, language of the event), a status of the associated user (e.g., fame, level of influence), etc.

For example, the machine generates explicit input data describing digital content preferences of a member of the SNS based on a communication including explicit feedback data. The communication is received from a client device associated with the member. The machine accesses feature data pertaining to one or more items of digital content determined to be relevant to the member. The feature data describes one or more characteristics associated with the one or more items. The machine generates a feed of items of digital content for the member based on the explicit input data and the feature data. The machine causes a presentation of the feed of the items of digital content in a user interface of the client device associated with the user.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for restoring temporal coherence of ranked content that was previously shown to a user. During operation, the system receives a set of content items to display to the user. For each content item, the system obtains a ranking score; determines if the content item was impressed upon the user during a prior session; and, if so, adds the content item to an impressed subset of content items. The system creates a display order for the set of content items by: removing the impressed content items from the set of content items; ordering the set of content items according to their ranking scores; ordering the impressed subset of content items according to their display order in the prior session; and inserting the impressed subset into the set of content items at a determined insertion point. The system then displays the ordered set of content items.

The shaft with a distal portion is configured to be inserted through an anus into the rectum, the distal portion of the shaft including a plurality of protrusions or a plurality of grooves designed to catch and hold parasites when removed from the rectum, the shaft further including a proximal portion designed to serve as a handle. A discussion topic is identified, the discussion topic being relevant to a first task pertaining to the organization and a second task pertaining to the organization, the first task being associated with the first person and the second task being associated with the second person. At least one of the first person and the second person is notified of the identifying of the discussion topic while the first person is within the physical proximity to the second person.
