Abstract: Disclosed herein is an article manipulation apparatus. The apparatus includes a connecting portion and two elongated fingers extending from the connecting portion. Two elongated fingers extend from the connecting portion. Each of the fingers has a holding portion disposed in a first plane. The holding portion is sized and shaped to be located in a user's hand. Each finger also has an intermediate portion that is disposed in a second plane away from the holding portion. Each finger also has an article holding end portion that is disposed in a third plane. The article holding ends have a concave holding sidewall. The connecting portion and the elongate fingers are sufficiently resilient so that an actuating force applied to each of the intermediate portions causes the article holding end portions to move together so that each of the concave holding sidewalls combine to form a spoon-like end portion.

Abstract: A board for opening an oyster has a cradle consisting of a support wall and a cradle portion sloping upwardly therefrom. The outer wall supports and anchors first end portions of the oyster which rest in abutment against, while the second end portions are disposed and elevated slightly on the cradle portion for opening of the oyster at the second end portions.

Abstract: A shelter structure comprising a supporting framework which includes a pair of spaced apart base members, each base member comprising a plurality of stationary receptacles. A plurality of ribs extend between the base members and have end portions removably mounted to respective stationary receptacles of the base members to form a skeleton frame which is covered by a skin. Each base member also comprises a movable receptacle capable to removeably hold the end portion of a rib. To erect the shelter, the ribs are temporarily mounted in the stationary receptacles of the base members to form a skeleton frame, the skin is mounted to the skeleton frame and one or more selected ribs which ultimately will form the door of the shelter structure are transferred from their respective stationary receptacles to movable receptacles so as to allow the ribs to move between an opened and a closed position relatively to the other ribs of the shelter.

Abstract: The cleaning tool has a side of nylon mesh which provides a grate-like surface for the removal of frost or the like off the inner surface of a windshield. The opposite side of the tool has extensions which project from a chamois-like surface. The extensions include a squeegee for removal of moisture and frost dislodged by the mesh and a hard plastic scraper that can remove ice off the external surface of the windshield. The cleaning tool, in an alternate embodiment can be presented in a mitt configuration and may only have a single extension from the chamois-like surface of the tool.
