  • Publication number: 20240152747
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a neural network is trained to classify three-dimensional spatial-channel images in a manner that allows the training data to include two-dimensional images. Specifically, rather than redesign the neural network completely to accept three-dimensional images as input, two-dimensional slices of three-dimensional spatial-channel images are input in groupings that match the groupings that a two-dimensional image would be grouped as in the neural network. For example, if the neural network is designed to accept RGB images, it therefore is designed to accept images in groupings of three (a red component image, a green component image, and a blue component image). In such a case, the two-dimensional slices of the three-dimensional spatial-channel images will also be grouped in grouping of three so the neural network can accept them. Thus, a neural network originally designed to classify two-dimensional color images can be modified to classify three-dimensional spatial-channel images.

  • Publication number: 20240136711
Abstract: An antenna for an electronic device comprising of a metal-sheet antenna and an antenna feed connecting the metal-sheet antenna to a radio frequency (RF) printed circuit board (PCB). A screw configured to operate as a ground feed for the metal-sheet antenna and to provide mechanical support in the electronic device wherein the screw is further configured to provide radiation for additional bands for the antenna. The metal-sheet antenna supports a first band, and the screw supports a second band, based on dimensions of a screw boss, and a third band, based on a gap between the screw boss and the metal-sheet antenna.

  • Patent number: 10188958
Abstract: A drivable surface includes a plurality of segments that can be arranged according to any desired configuration. One or more mobile agents are configured to automatically explore the drivable surface so as to ascertain the positions, orientations, and/or configurations of the various segments, as well as how they are connected to one another. The information collected during such exploration can be transmitted to a host device or other location, where a virtual representation of the drivable surface can be constructed based on the collected information.

  • Publication number: 20050095587
Abstract: The present invention provides purified disease detection and treatment molecule polynucleotides (mddt). Also encompassed are the polypeptides (MDDT) encoded by mddt. The invention also provides for the use of mddt, or complements, oligonucleotides, or fragments thereof in diagnostic assays. The invention further provides for vectors and host cells containing mddt for the expression of MDDT. The invention additionally provides for the use of isolated and purified MDDT to induce anitbodies and to screen libraries of compounds and the use of anti-MDDT antibodies in diagnostic assays. Also provided are microarrays containing mddt and methods of use.

  • Publication number: 20040115629
Abstract: The present invention provides purified human polynucleotides for diagnostics and therapeutics (dithp). Also en-compassed are the polypeptides (DITHP) encoded by dithp. The invention also provides for the use of dithp, or complements, oligonucleotides, or fragments thereof in diagnostic assays. The invention further provides for vectors and host cells containing dithp for the expression of DITHP. The invention additionally provides for the use of isolated and purified DITHP to induce antibodies and to screen libraries of compounds and the use of anti-DITHP antibodies in diagnostic assays. Also provided are microarrays containing dithp and methods of use.
