    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mobile communication device and a method of controlling a mobile communication device to suppress ambient noise in a speech signal generated at a microphone of the mobile communication device. A primary microphone configured to receive speech and ambient noise and generate a primary speech signal corresponding to the speech and the ambient noise that is received. An accelerometer configured to detect vibrations of the mobile communication device when the speech and the ambient noise are received at the microphone and to generate a signal corresponding to the vibrations that are detected. A processor is operably coupled to the microphone and the accelerometer and configured to generate, using signal processing, a noise suppressed speech signal based on the primary speech signal and the signal received from the accelerometer.

    Abstract: A wind turbine with two or more wind turbine blades having at least one continuous profile extending along the length of the blade. The continuous profile may be formed by a plurality of first and second projecting elements which extend in a chord-wise direction. The ratio between the height and length of the first and second element is at least 1:1. The height of the projecting elements may be tapered off from the trailing edge towards the leading edge and/or from the blade root towards the tip end. This allows the increase in strain forces generated in the wind turbine blade to be reduced by deforming the first and second elements in an edgewise direction. This also allows for a continuous reduction of the strain forces and a reduced thickness of the first and second elements which in turn saves material.

Hereby is obtained that the root section of the blade can be shortened and the maximum chord of the wind turbine blade can be moved closer to the hub, whereby the part of the blade exploiting the wind is increased and the power output similarly increased. The present invention further relates to a pitch bearing and a hub comprising a bearing ring with two or more holes for positioning fastening members for attaching a wind turbine blade to the bearing. Here, correspondingly, at least two of the holes are oriented in different angles so that the fastening members positioned in the holes are non-parallel and extend in different directions.

The angular displacement of each blade can be changed individually independently of the remainder of the blades and cyclically. The method also comprises that each blade is accelerated on its way upwards in the rotation cycle and decelerated on its way down. Further details are provided about a system for controlling blades in a wind turbine comprising one or more wind speed meters, position meters, and/or acceleration meters, based on which parameters control of the angular displacement of each blade in the rotor plane is performed.

At higher wind speeds, the flow surfaces are completely or partially taken out of the flow of the wind. Moreover, the flow surfaces can be adjusted around the wind turbine based on measurements of the speed of the wind and direction of the wind and/or the power signal of the wind turbine. The invention further relates to a system comprising one or more flow surfaces and means for adjusting same to the effect that the output of a wind turbine can be maximized by using the venturi effect to advantage as described above.
