  • Patent number: 8212398
Abstract: A power supply device 100 comprises a plurality of power storage devices 10 connected in parallel, and includes an NTC 40 that detects a temperature of each of the plurality of power storage devices 10, an FET 21/22 connected to each of the plurality of power storage devices in series, and a control unit that controls ON and OFF states of the FET 21/22. The control unit performs a temperature control to increase a time ratio of the OFF state in controlling the ON and OFF states of the FET 21/22 based on the temperature detected by the NTC 40. Thus, a power supply device and an electric vehicle that can restrain shortening of the life duration of the device as a whole can be provided by restraining increase and variation of the temperature of each power storage device.

  • Publication number: 20020183872
Abstract: A golf site administration system allows elimination of golf site personnel involved in making player reservations, receiving payments, and ordering foodstuffs. A terminal allows a player to request and reserve golf play at a golf site via a communication circuit. A reservation signal is stored in a reservation storing means. The player checks in before play using an input means. A set of check-in information is compared with the stored reservation signal. If the information matches, check-in is performed.

  • Patent number: 5276939
Abstract: An electric vacuum cleaner has a main body with a blower and a dust-collecting chamber, a triac that controls the blower, a floor nozzle coupled to the main body, a sensor that senses the current in a motor in the floor nozzle that drives its rotary brush, and a microcomputer. At a predetermined interval, the sensor sends a representative value of the current for that interval, which may be the maximum value, to the microcomputer. The microcomputer determines the duty cycle of the triac by performing a fuzzy interference procedure on the values that sent. Thus the supply of current to the blower can be varied automatically according to the conditions of use of the floor nozzle and the kind of floor surface cleaned.
