  • Publication number: 20120326781
Abstract: A transmission module including a power supply voltage control unit that sets a power supply voltage to the high frequency amplifier in a variable manner, and a control circuit that controls an amplitude control unit, a phase control unit and the power supply voltage control unit. The control circuit and the power supply voltage control unit control the power supply voltage in accordance with an output power of the high frequency amplifier. The transmission module can carry out not only phase control but also amplitude control in a continuous manner, while suppressing amplitude and phase variation, and a high frequency amplifier in the transmission module is made highly efficient. In addition, a large directional gain, a low side lobe level and a low power consumption are achieved, as a phased array antenna apparatus using a transmission module.

  • Publication number: 20120319746
Abstract: An array antenna apparatus in which an SN ratio is improved. Antenna elements having transmission modules, respectively, are arranged in plurality, wherein the plurality of transmission modules respectively have transmission signal generators that each output a transmission intermediate frequency signal, local oscillation signal generators that each output a local oscillation signal, and transmission mixers that each mix the transmission intermediate frequency signal and the local oscillation signal with each other, thereby to carry out frequency conversion to a transmission high frequency signal. A reference signal source inputs a reference signal to the transmission signal generators and the local oscillation signal generators. The transmission intermediate frequency signal and the local oscillation signal are synchronized with each other by the reference signal.

  • Patent number: 7998454
Abstract: A first heat treatment is carried out in which a material powder comprising magnesium is kept in the atmosphere of hydrogen gas and the temperature and pressure in the atmosphere of hydrogen gas are maintained in the temperature-pressure region in which single Mg and H2 coexist in a thermodynamically stable state, whereby the coating on the surface of the material powder is removed. Next, a second heat treatment is carried out in which the temperature and pressure in the atmosphere of hydrogen gas are changed and maintained in the temperature-pressure region in which MgH2 exists in a thermodynamically stable state. Hence, Mg from which the coating is removed reacts promptly with H2, and MgH2 is produced at high yield. Magnesium-based hydrides containing high purity MgH2 can thus be obtained by supplying energy less than that required for the related art that requires an activation treatment.

  • Publication number: 20100031777
Abstract: An ore containing crystal water (bond water) is heated to dehydrate the crystal water in the form of water vapor, thereby rendering the ore porous to generate a porous ore. Next, the porous ore is forced into contact with a dry-distilled gas (organic gas) obtained by dry-distillation of an organic substance such as wood and the like or an organic liquid such as tar and the like. An organic compound such as tar and the like contained in the dry-distilled gas or organic liquid adheres to the surface of the porous ore. Next, the porous ore adhered with an organic compound is heated at 500° C. or higher, to generate an ore in which a part of an oxide of an element such as iron and the like contained is reduced by carbon in the organic compound.
