  • Patent number: 7716951
Abstract: A method of producing a glass-particle-deposited body that has a small diameter variation and the like resulting from alteration of the deposition condition is offered. When the glass-particle-deposited body is produced, a burner row constituted by placing a plurality of burners is moved relative to a starting member, and glass particles ejected from the burners are deposited on the starting member. In the method of producing a glass-particle-deposited body, alteration of the deposition condition is performed during the course of the deposition of the glass particles on the starting member. The method of producing a glass-particle-deposited body has a feature in that the alteration of the deposition condition is performed at least twice and that the burner positions along the length of the starting member at which the deposition condition is altered are placed at intervals shorter than the intervals between burners.

  • Publication number: 20100115308
Abstract: Provided is a communication device capable of efficiently performing a power supply control when reducing power consumption by reducing the time during which the power is supplied. In the device, a CPU power saving control unit (301) switches between a normal mode in which the power is supplied to a CPU (302) and a low power consumption mode in which the power supply is stopped at predetermined timing. A session management table (321) stores transmission intervals before and after conversion. An information conversion section (322) converts the transmission intervals of session maintenance messages according to a predetermined rule so that the transmission intervals of the session maintenance messages of respective protocols are mutually synchronized between the protocols.

  • Publication number: 20090222533
Abstract: A data relaying apparatus disposed on the preceding stage of a registry server centrally managing meta-information extracts meta-information from a content retrieval result transmitted from the registry server to a client terminal and retains and correlates the meta-information with URI information included in the meta-information. On the other hand, a data relaying apparatus disposed on the preceding stage of a repository server retaining contents receives a content acquisition request transmitted from the client terminal to the repository server to extract URI information from the content acquisition request and transmits the URI information to the data relaying apparatus to acquire meta-information. The meta-information is added to contents transmitted to the client terminal before the contents are relayed.

  • Publication number: 20090006839
Abstract: A communication device collects encrypted packet data passing through the communication device. The communication device extracts parameters required to generate a decryption key used when the collected packet data is decrypted. The communication device notifies a key managing device of the extracted parameters. The communication device acquires the decryption key, generated by the key managing device using the parameters of which notification has been given, from the key managing device. The communication device decrypts the collected packet data using the acquired decryption key and analyzes the decrypted packet data. The communication device extracts profile information from the analyzed packet data. The communication device transmits the extracted profile information and network information related to a network through which the encrypted packet data passes to a communication log device as a communication log.

  • Publication number: 20080040476
Abstract: An access point control system enables transmission of statistic information on access point devices without communicating extra messages, that is, spending CPU recourses and network band resources unnecessarily. In the system, when the access point devices (101-1 to 101-3) send a session maintenance message to an access point control device (102), the devices report the statistic information to the access point control device (102) at the same time. On receiving the statistic information, the access point control device (102) holds it. On receiving from a network control device (103) a statistic information acquisition request for the statistic information on an access point device, the access point control device (102) reports the statistic information received from the access point device to the network management device (103).
