  • Publication number: 20090025515
Abstract: In a housing of a power tool is formed a hook-receiving portion, with openings facing leftward and rightward, through which a substantially U-shaped hook having a left hook leg and a right hook leg is movable among a left protruding position in which the left hook leg protrudes leftward from the hook-receiving portion, a right protruding position in which the right hook leg protrudes rightward from the hook-receiving portion, and an accommodating position in which the left and right hook legs are both accommodated in the hook-receiving portion. Also provided in the housing is a retaining mechanism by which the hook is retainable in one of the positions of the left protruding position, right protruding position, and accommodating position.

  • Publication number: 20080116751
Abstract: A semiconductor switch circuit is provided that enables current consumption to be reduced even in a conduction state. A semiconductor switch circuit 100 has P-type MOS transistors Q101 and Q102 for conduction that share a source and are connected in series between an input/output terminal 101 and input/output terminal 102, a P-type MOS transistor Q103 and N-type MOS transistor Q105 having drains connected to the gate of Q101, a P-type MOS transistor Q104 and N-type MOS transistor Q106 having drains connected to the gate of Q102, and a control terminal 103 connected to the gates of the transistors. Further semiconductor switch circuit 100 is configured with the sources and back gates of Q103 and Q104 connected to the sources of Q101 and Q102. Therefore, it is possible to switch the path between input/output terminal 101 and input/output terminal 102 between a conduction state and non-conduction state by means of voltage control by voltage value Vcont of a control signal applied to control terminal 103.

  • Patent number: 6321622
Abstract: A screwdriver 1 includes a hook 7 which is configured to fit in an accommodating recess 20 grooved in a motor housing 4 and a handle cover 5. The hook 7 includes an extending portion 8 for being accommodated in a first groove 21 and a base block 9 for being accommodated in a second groove 22. The base block 9 is provided with a pair of slide plates 10 which in turn includes retainer flanges 11 at its free ends. To draw out the hook 7, it is manually pulled up at the top end of the extending portion 8 and slid rearward so that the retainer flanges 11 of the slide plates 10 enter support slots 27 provided at the rear of the second groove 22. Simultaneously, a support plate 12 of the base block 9 abut the top wall 5a of the handle cover 5. In this drawn-out position, as the retainer flanges 11 interfere with the edges of the support slots 27, the hook 7 is prevented from slipping out the screwdriver 1 and secured on the handle cover 5 outside the accommodating recess 20.

  • Patent number: 5988025
Abstract: A screw feeding device in a continuous screw driving tool includes a casing mounted on a tool body of the continuous screw driving tool. A feeder box is reciprocally movable within the casing, so that a screw carrying belt is fed by a distance corresponding to one pitch of screws carried thereon as the feeder box is reciprocally moved by one stroke. A stopper base is mounted on the feeder box, and a mounting mechanism is provided for mounting the stopper base on the feeder box, so that the stopper base can be changed in its position relative to the feeder box. The mounting mechanism includes a plurality of lock holes and a lock member. The lock holes are formed on one of the stopper base and the feeder box and spaced from each other by a predetermined distance in a driving direction of a screw. The lock member has a lock protrusion engageable with any of the lock holes and is held in position in the screw driving direction relative to the other of the stopper base and the feeder box.

  • Patent number: 5947210
Abstract: A power screwdriver has a tool body, a motor, a drive member rotatably driven by the motor, a spindle rotatably mounted on the tool body and a clutch mechanism provided between the drive member and the spindle. The clutch mechanism includes an engaging clutch and a synchronizer device. The synchronizer device is operable to rotate the spindle at a predetermined speed that is substantially equal to or less than the rotational speed of the drive member, prior to connection of the engaging clutch.

  • Patent number: 5904079
Abstract: A screw feeding device in a continuous screw driving tool includes a casing mounted on a tool body of the continuous screw driving tool. A feeder box is reciprocally movable within the casing and a ratchet arm is reciprocally pivotable as the feeder box is reciprocally moved. An intermediate gear is connected to the ratchet arm by mechanism of a one-way clutch and is rotatable by a predetermined angle as the ratchet arm is pivoted in one direction. A ratchet wheel has feeding claws engageable with a screw carrying belt and has a gear part engaged with the intermediate gear, so that the ratchet wheel is rotated in a feeding direction as the intermediate gear is rotated and that the screw carrying belt is fed by a distance of one pitch of screws carried by the screw carrying belt for each reciprocal movement of the feeder box.
