  • Patent number: 9194399
Abstract: A portable blower has a casing (2) having an opening portion (24) open in a suction face (2a) of the casing (2) facing the installation surface with an inclination and a discharge port (7) open in a top face (2d) of the casing (2); an air passage (8) inside the casing (2), connecting between the opening portion (24) and the discharge port (7); and a blower fan (17) inside the air passage (8). As the blower fan (17) is operated, outside air is introduced into the air passage (8) through an intake port (6) formed by part or the whole of the opening portion (24) to pass through the blower fan (17) and then be sent out through the discharge port (7). The opening portion (24) and the discharge port (7) communicate with each other along the inner side of the suction face (2a) outside the blower fan (17).

  • Patent number: 9175689
Abstract: A portable blower includes a casing (2) having an intake port (6) and a discharge port (7); an air passage (8) provided inside the casing (2) and connecting between the intake port (6) and the discharge port (7); a blower fan (17) arranged inside the air passage (8); a filter (16) arranged at the intake port (6); and a lid portion (3) openably fitted to the casing (2), the lid portion (3), when open, exposing the intake port (6) and, when closed, covering the intake port (6). When open, the lid portion (3) supports the casing (2) to let it stand on a table top. As the blower fan (17) is operated, outside air is introduced through the intake port (6) into the air passage (8) so as to be sent out through the discharge port (7).

  • Patent number: 8771599
Abstract: An air blower including a motor 2 having output shafts 21, 21 on both sides in the axial direction and two impellers 3, 3 mounted on the respective output shafts 21, 21, and two ducts 5, 5 that individually allow passage of the air blown out by rotation of each of the impellers 3, 3 in the same direction and discharge the air to the outside are included. At a part or the whole of each of the ducts 5, 5, a laminar flow section that makes the flowing air laminar flow. An ion generating section is arranged at each laminar flow section so that ions generated by the ion generating section can effectively be included in the air, increasing the ion concentration of ions discharged in a room together with the air.

  • Patent number: 6703598
Abstract: A semiconductor photodetecting apparatus 1 comprises a base 2 and a CCD chip 4. The CCD chip 4 is secured to the base 2 when a resin 8 is supplied and cured. The base 2 is formed with a gas supply path 15 and a gas exhaust path 16. Each of the gas supply path 15 and gas exhaust path 16 has one end opening to the upper face 2d of the base 2, and the other end opening to an end face of a mounting portion 2a. A gas storage section 19 and a gas supply pump 20 are connected to the gas supply path 15, whereby the gas supply pump 20 supplies N2 gas stored in the gas storage section 19 to a space within the base 2 by way of the gas supply path 15. The N2 gas supplied to the space is discharged from the gas exhaust path 16 after being refluxed through the space.

  • Publication number: 20040007000
Abstract: An air conditioning apparatus incorporates an ion generating device that generates positive and negative ions by applying an alternating-current voltage between electrodes. The generated positive and negative ions coexist in the air and, when they attach to the surfaces of airborne bacteria, they react chemically with each other and generate radical hydroxyl and hydrogen peroxide, which extract hydrogen atoms from the cells of the bacteria and thereby kill them. This sterilizing effect is combined with the temperature-conditioning, dehumidifying, humidifying, air-purifying, and other functions of the air conditioning apparatus to bring about a comfortable and healthful indoor environment.
