  • Publication number: 20160029675
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method for improving the saltiness of a food or drink, and the saltiness of a food or drink containing a salt and a grain. The saltiness enhancing method enhances the saltiness of salt-containing food or drink by adding a rare sugar to a raw material of the food or drink. The saltiness enhancing method is a method for reducing the salt content in a food or drink containing a salt, or a method for masking a grain odor due to a grain in a raw material of the food or drink that contains the grain as a part thereof and contains a salt. The rare sugar contains at least D-psicose.

  • Patent number: 8678619
Abstract: A light emitting device includes light transmitting resin loaded between a lens and a light emitting element. The structure of the device enables the lens to be fixed to a required position without reducing the light transmittance. The light emitting device 1 includes a light emitting element 2 and a separate lens 3 supported by a support member 4. The lens 3 is fixed to the support member 4 by hardening the resin 13 between the element 2 and the lens 3 in the support member 4. Mutually engaging male and female portions are provided between the support member 4 and the lens 3. N male portions (n is a positive integer) are provided for (n+?) female portions (? is a positive integer). The female portions allow the resin 13 to communicate with the outside of the device. The ? female portions serve as a leak portion for discharging the resin 13 or bubbles to the outside when the lens 3 is fixed.

  • Patent number: 8431949
Abstract: A light emitting device includes a semiconductor light emitting element, a first lead including an element mount portion on which the semiconductor light emitting element is mounted, and a second lead electrically connected to the semiconductor light emitting element. The light emitting device further includes a resin package covering the semiconductor light emitting element and part of each of the first and the second leads. The resin package includes a lens portion facing the semiconductor light emitting element. The first lead includes a pair of standing portions spaced from each other with the element mount portion intervening between them and a pair of terminal portions extending from the standing portions in mutually opposite directions. Each of the standing portions projects from the resin package in a direction away from the lens portion.
