  • Patent number: 9879825
Abstract: A high-pressure tank configured to store a fluid includes: a liner; and a fiber-reinforced resin layer configured to cover surface of the liner. The liner includes: a cylindrical liner portion in a cylindrical shape; and dome liner portions in a dome shape, each dome liner portion being connected with the cylindrical liner portion, such that an outer surface of the dome liner portion is inclined at a predetermined angle to an outer surface of the cylindrical liner portion. The fiber-reinforced resin layer includes a hoop layer provided by hoop winding that winds the fiber substantially perpendicularly to a central axis of the cylindrical liner portion. The hoop layer is formed, such that an outer surface of the hoop layer has a smaller angle than the predetermined angle to the outer surface of the dome liner portion at a boundary between the hoop layer and the dome liner portion.

  • Publication number: 20170122940
Abstract: The present invention provides a sandwich assay for quantifying a glycoprotein, which is a substance to be detected, in a sample using a labeled lectin, wherein the effect attributed to a contaminant, namely noise on the quantified value of the substance to be detected, is suppressed by introduction of a simple treatment. The sandwich assay includes a treatment for inhibiting the binding of the labeled lectin to a sugar chain carried by the contaminant non-specifically adsorbed to the measurement region, which contaminant is contained in the sample and which sugar chain is the same as that of the substance to be detected.

  • Publication number: 20150309019
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a method of suppressing, in an immunoassay using surface plasmon-field enhanced fluorescence spectroscopy (SPFS), nonspecific signals generated by nonspecific adsorption of contaminants contained in a sample to an SPFS sensor section (e.g., a primary antibody, a solid-phase layer and a metal thin film). The present invention relates to a method of suppressing nonspecific signals originating from contaminants in an immunoassay using surface plasmon-field enhanced fluorescence spectroscopy (SPFS) (including cases where a receptor for a compound to be measured is used in place of a primary antibody), the method comprising performing at least one of the following pretreatments: (1) a pretreatment of adding an acid or an alkali to a sample; (2) a pretreatment of adding a metal ion to the sample; and (3) a pretreatment of heating the sample.

  • Publication number: 20150276749
Abstract: The present invention provides a method by which lung squamous cell carcinoma can be detected in a simple and prompt manner with high detection performance; and the like. The method according to the present invention detects lung squamous cell carcinoma by an assessment including the steps of: (1) performing measurement of the desmoglein 3 content in a blood sample collected from a subject; and (2) comparing the desmoglein 3 content determined by the measurement with the desmoglein 3 content in a blood sample collected from a healthy individual so as to estimate the presence of lung squamous cell carcinoma in the subject when the desmoglein 3 content is higher in the blood sample collected from the subject.

  • Publication number: 20150177258
Abstract: The present invention relates to variant SH2 domains for binding a phosphotyrosine (pTyr)-containing peptide. The variant SH2 domains of the present invention include a parent SH2 domain having at least one amino acid substitution in a pre-defined region of 15 amino acid positions of the parent SR2 domain, wherein said at least one amino acid substitution increases the affinity of the variant SH2 domain for the pTyr-containing peptide relative to the parent SH2 domain. The present application relates also to methods of using the variant SH2 domains in the treatment of protein kinase-associated disorders, or the diagnosis or prognosis of protein kinase-associated disorders, for isolating and measuring the concentration of pTyr-containing molecules, and as reagents in research.
