  • Patent number: 11297687
Abstract: To prevent a decrease in transmission rate of an entirety of a system including devices that transmit data items with use of a plurality of channels ever, in a case where some of the channels change in condition, for example, decrease in transmission rate. In an information processing device including channel evaluation units, a channel selection unit, and a transmission control unit, the channel evaluation units evaluate, on the basis of an evaluation function, a plurality of channels that transmit data items via wireless communication. The channel selection unit performs selection from the plurality of channels on the basis of results of the evaluations. The transmission control unit transmits the data items to the plurality of channels subjected to the selection.

  • Patent number: 8345551
Abstract: There is provided a transmission rate control method. In this method, data is transmitted to a receiver at the most recent transmission rate RSNDt?1, and an RTCP packet including a reception rate RRCVt of the data is received from the receiver. When a network is in a congestion state, or when the network is in a non-congestion state and the most recent reception achievement rate RARt?1 is higher than the reception rate RRCVt, a reception achievement rate RARt is calculated as a long-term EWMA of the reception rate RRCV. When the network is in the non-congestion state and the most recent reception achievement rate RARt?1 is lower than the reception rate RRCVt, or when a time-out of the RTCP packet occurs, the reception achievement rate RARt is calculated as a short-term EWMA of the reception rate RRCV. A transmission rate RSNDt is set based on the reception achievement rate RARt.

  • Patent number: 6985930
Abstract: A system and method for automatically displaying information from a designated information providing location and information from an associated information providing location. Information a designated information providing location is read from an automatic reading control section through a communication processing section. An information generation section discriminates an associated information providing location included in the read information, generates an automatic reading instruction list for designating a information providing location that reads the next information and stores the automatic reading instruction list in an information storage section. The automatic reading control section sequentially reads information from information providing locations according to the automatic reading instruction list. The information generation section discriminates the associated information providing location included in the read information and updates the automatic reading instruction list.
