  • Publication number: 20120255755
Abstract: In a power tool, a planetary gear speed reduction mechanism is provided in a gear case, and a spindle is configured to receive a torque of a motor transmitted through the planetary gear speed reduction mechanism. A final-stage internal gear is rotatably provided at a final stage of the planetary gear speed reduction mechanism. A clutch mechanism includes a coil spring configured to press the final-stage internal gear from a front side. The clutch mechanism is configured to cause the internal gear to run idle, thereby interrupting transmission of torque, at overload beyond a pressing force of the coil spring. An elastic member is interposed between an inner peripheral surface of the gear case and an outer peripheral surface of the final-stage internal gear, to give resistance to the final-stage internal gear at idle.
