  • Patent number: 11461000
Abstract: One or more systems and/or methods for adjusting a user interface based upon an orientation of an input object are provided. An input provided by an input object (e.g., a hand of the user) may be received through a display of a device (e.g., a touchscreen display of a smartphone). The input may comprises gesture data corresponding to a gesture performed relative to the display. The input may be evaluated to determine an orientation, such as a hand orientation, of the input object. In an example, curvature associated with the gesture may be evaluated to determine the orientation of the input object. A user interface displayed by the device may be adjusted based upon the orientation of the input object. In an example, a location, a size, an appearance, an output, and/or a functionality of a user interface element displayed within the user interface may be adjusted.

  • Patent number: 11341153
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content searching, generating, hosting and/or providing systems supported by or configured with personal computing devices, servers and/or platforms. The systems interact to identify and retrieve data within or across platforms, which can be used to improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods provide systems and methods for determining and recommending media for a user based on applications associated with a user's device. The disclosed systems and methods further provide a deep-linking feature and/or capability, such that upon a user selecting media from the recommended media, the selected media can be automatically rendered via its native application.

The systems interact to identify and retrieve data within or across platforms, which can be used to improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods provide systems and methods for automatically determining and suggesting media for a user based on a determined state of the user. The state determination of a user is based on user input respective to media representing specific categories of moods.

The systems interact to identify and retrieve data within or across platforms, which can be used to improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. The disclosed systems and methods provide systems and methods for automatically filtering a compressed media file for perceptual display of the media content in a modified, higher-resolution format. The disclosed systems and methods apply novel visual filtering techniques to a compressed media file that enable the display of the rendered media content to appear to be displayed as a modified, higher-resolution version of itself without actually modifying the compressed media file during rendering.

  • Publication number: 20190108601
Abstract: Rapid reordering may be performed by a two-step process. A user interface may present a user with a first user interface control, which can be a button or other user interface control that enables a user interface to initiate an express reorder of a previously-ordered item. Once the user has selected the button, the user interface can present default details about the order along with a second user interface control, which can be a swipe bar or another button (or some other control). User selection of the second user interface control can complete the reorder process. Although described with respect to reordering, this two-step process can also be used for ordering items not previously ordered by a user before.

  • Publication number: 20160019634
Abstract: In an embodiment, the system can be configured to allow a user to quickly order a repeat item by simply rotating the mobile device or other computing system of the user to a horizontal orientation. By positioning the mobile device or other computing system in a horizontal orientation, the system can be configured to remove the existing contents on the display, display the necessary information for previously placed orders, and reorient the contents for correctly displaying the content in a horizontal orientation, thereby increasing the amount of display area for presenting data to a user, from the perspective of margin width.
