  • Publication number: 20240141879
Abstract: A pulsation dampener includes: a centerbody assembly having: a chamber including a first opening bounded by a wall defining a first surface; an outlet port communicating with the chamber; an inlet port communicating with the chamber; a flexible first diaphragm, wherein a perimeter of the first diaphragm is bonded to the first surface forming a seal that blocks the passage of fluid; a first cap disposed adjacent the first diaphragm, defining a first cavity between the first cap and the first diaphragm; an inlet orifice formed in the first cap communicating with the first cavity; an exhaust orifice formed in the first cap communicating with the first cavity; and a valve seat disposed in the first cavity in fluid communication with the exhaust orifice. The first diaphragm is moveable between an open position spaced away from the valve seat, and a closed position sealed against the valve seat.

  • Publication number: 20220176265
Abstract: An air amplifier utilizes a high-pressure input stream of air to accelerate a low-velocity input stream of air to provide a high-velocity, high-volume output stream of air. A coupled air amplifier array includes multiple air amplifiers which couple their respective output streams of air to one another to form a single collective output stream of air. Multiple coupled air amplifier arrays can be utilized to form coupled air amplifier array systems to provide multiple collective output streams of air which can be focused toward to an audience within a venue. The coupled air amplifier array system can be implemented within atmospheric effects systems to provide atmospheric effects, such as wind, scent, and/or temperature to provide some examples, relating to an event. These atmospheric effects systems can present these atmospheric effects to the audience to enhance the immersion of the audience as they are viewing the event.

  • Publication number: 20170175343
Abstract: A system and method of rescuing playability of synthetic turf are disclosed. The system and method include kicking out infield material, mixing existing infield material with fresh infield material, injecting the mixed infield material, and kicking the bent and depressed turf fibers back to an upright position. The system and method also include performing the injecting pivoting the injectors in multiple directions. The system and method further include mixing water absorbent polymer particles with the mixed infield material and injecting into the turf. The system and method further include applying liquid materials to the fibers and material of the synthetic turf. The system and method further include injecting disinfectants into the turf.

  • Publication number: 20070224414
Abstract: A protective coating for a roof membrane of the type having plasticizers. The protective or barrier seal coating is applied the exposed surface of the polymeric roofing material, where it prevents and/or retards plasticizer migration to the surface of the membrane where they are subsequently removed. By preventing or retarding loss of plasticizers from the roof membrane, the concentration gradient of plasticizers throughout the membrane can be maintained and the life of the membrane can be extended. The protective or barrier seal coating may be further coated with conventional coatings such as elastomeric acrylics. Methods of applying the protective or barrier seal coating are disclosed.
