    Abstract: A wire bonding method in which conductive patterns that are electrically connected at one end to pads are formed on the surface of a wafer on which a plurality of pads have been formed, and bumps used as connecting points located on the other ends of the conductive patterns are connected to the connecting terminals of a substrate. A disposition of bumps that differs from the disposition of the pads is obtained by the conductive patterns, thus eliminating and adjusting mismatching between the disposition of the pads and the disposition of the connecting terminals.

    Abstract: A refrigeration apparatus for a transport container has a partition to divide the interior of a box, which is mounted on the front wall of a container, into two compartments. In one of the compartments is disposed a refrigeration assembly including an evaporator, an evaporator fan, a condenser, a condenser fan and a refrigerant compressor, on the other hand, in the other one of the compartment is disposed a common mount on which a generator assembly including an engine, an engine radiator, a radiator fan and a generator in in-line relation is mounted in such a manner that the generator assembly may be installed into or removed from the box as one unit. The refrigeration assembly and the generator assembly are thermally isolated from each other by the partition, so that an exhausted warm air from one assembly does not heat the other assembly.

    Abstract: An exhaust gas recirculation system for diesel engines including an exhaust gas recirculation passage and a recirculation control valve for controlling the gas flow in the recirculation passage. A control circuit is provided for controlling the operation of the control valve. The control circuit receives an engine speed signal and a position signal which represents the angular position of the control lever in the fuel injection pump and closes the control valve to cut-off the exhaust gas recirculation when the engine speed signal becomes smaller than the position signal.

A lubricating oil supply system includes oil passages opening through oil discharge nozzles to the intake passage downstream of the throttle valve and to the rotor housing. Air passages are provided and communicating at one ends with the oil passages and opening at the other end to the intake passage between the supercharging blower and the throttle valve.

    Abstract: A carburetor for an internal combustion engine has an idle adjust screw. A cover is provided for encompassing the idle adjust screw so as to prevent any readjustment of the idle adjust screw by an operator. The cover is not removable once the carburetor is mounted on the intake pipe so that carburetor settings can be maintained. The cover may be formed with a slot of special configuration so that adjustment may be made only with a specially designed tool.
