  • Patent number: 6330087
Abstract: A hologram of an increased size using a single color laser, capable of executing a full color regeneration in a desired view angle and a method for producing the hologram. A plurality of photo-sensitive members are independently exposed to obtain respective holograms, which are connected by using an adhesive layer 80 constructing a connecting means, in order to obtain an integrated hologram expanded in two-dimensional direction. The holograms are obtained by an interference of a reference light 22 and an object light passed through a light diffusing body 24 in order to cause the light diffusing body 24 to be recorded on the photo-sensitive member. The size of the light diffusing body 24 is such that the spectral characteristic of the diffused light from the hologram can attain a desired efficiency at least over the entire wavelength range of the visible light.

  • Patent number: 6288803
Abstract: A hologram display has a projector (2), a hologram screen (9), and a filter set (25) that is arranged between the projector and the hologram screen to absorb light with a peak diffraction efficiency in a specific wavelength area. The hologram display faithfully reproduces original colors and improves productivity. Also provided is a hologram screen having a hologram element (11) for diffracting and scattering a projected beam (21) from a projector (2), and a light scattering element (12) whose scattering angle is at least five degrees. The hologram screen correctly reproduces original colors.

  • Patent number: 5993006
Abstract: An apparatus synthesizes the image of a viewer and a second image into a synthesized image and displays the synthesized image. The apparatus is capable of aligning the line of sight of the viewer with the line of sight of the displayed image of the viewer and correctly reproducing colors on the synthesized image. The apparatus has a transparent hologram screen (15) on which a diffuser is recorded, a camera (25) for imaging a viewer (81) through the hologram screen, a synthesizer (28) for synthesizing the image of the viewer and a second image into a synthesized image, and a projector (11) for projecting signal light (31) containing the synthesized image onto the hologram screen. In place of the synthesizer, a display unit may be arranged behind the viewer. The hologram screen (15) may be combined with a mirror or a half-mirror.

  • Patent number: 5759675
Abstract: A multi-layer film having an intermediate layer containing, as a main component, a mixture of two kinds of specific linear low density polyethylenes, and innermost and outermost layers containing, as a main component, a mixture of a specific high pressure process polyethylene, a specific ethylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer and a specific linear low density polyethylene. The film has an automatic packaging machine applicability and an excellent heat sealability at low temperatures without defects such as lowering of tuck in property, stretchability in the transverse direction and film slipping property and blocking, and is suitably employed as films for stretch packaging and shrink packaging which are used for prepackaging of retailed goods, mainly foods.

  • Patent number: 4746568
Abstract: A heat-resisting coating composition prepared by binding with a mixture of modified silicone resin and an aluminum chelate compound, pulverized inorganic material consisting essentially of a mixture of powder containing at least one member selected from the group consisting of aluminum phosphate, zinc molybdate and calcium carbonate, plate-shaped powder principally containing aluminum silicate or magnesium silicate, and metallic zinc powder. The composition exhibits excellent rust-preventing performance in a temperature range spreading from a low temperature to a high temperature, as a heat-resisting painting material for use on an exhaust pipe connected with a motor car engine. Upon applying said heat-resisting coating composition onto a metal surface, it is effective for enhancing adhesion to preliminarily form fine protrusions having "turn-rounds" on the metal surface.
