Abstract: A separation device comprises a vessel (1) having an essentially circular cylindrical shape around a center axis (2), a first passage (4) provided in the cylindrical wall of the vessel and a second passage (5), provided in the cylindrical wall of the vessel on a diametrically opposite part thereof. An enclosure means (6) is provided in the vessel (1) to enclose a bed (7) of particulate material and comprises a first and second enclosure panel (8, 9) provided inside the first and second passages (4, 5), respectively, at a distance therefrom to provide a flow distribution space (11) therebetween and being perforated (15) to permit fluid flow therethrough. Each of said enclosure panels (8, 9) has an outer surface which is essentially parallel with the center axis (2) and convex seen from the respective passage (4,5).

Abstract: An apparatus for the treatment of components by means of a gas mixture, comprising mainly a first light gas and minor amounts of a second gas being heavier than the first gas, has a treatment chamber (10) in which the treatment occurs and a concentration, and purification device (19, 29, 30) in which the gas mixture is concentrated and purified to increase the concentration of the first gas. The treatment chamber (10) comprises an outlet member (19) provided in an upper part of the treatment chamber (10) and means (14, 15) being arranged to move the gas mixture upwardly and out through the outlet member (19). Said means may comprise an inlet member (14) provided in a lower part of the treatment chamber (10) and arranged to supply additional gas and to admit a laminar inward flow of said additional gas.

Abstract: Apparatus for storage and transport of temperature sensitive goods comprises a load carrier pallet for supporting the goods, an upper insulating cover for covering the goods and the upper edge of the pallet, a lower cover enclosing the pallet and the lower part of the upper cover, and a sealing member between the facing surfaces of the upper and lower covers. A controllable arrangement for supplying a gaseous cooling medium is carried by the upper cover, whereby a blocking gas layer of cooling medium is maintainable around the goods. The sealing member preferably is gas permeable, and may comprise a Velcro fastener. Rubber bands or the like may be used also to connect the upper and lower covers. At least the upper cover is a laminated structure.
