  • Publication number: 20140305005
Abstract: A heel counter is roughly a U-shaped cup. The bottom of the cup is a support part with the effect of uniformly distributing pressure on the heel. The cup rim embraces the surrounding of the heel to provide protection and stability. The cup rim has several hollow parts to reduce the overall hardness, to enhance comfort by providing suitable elasticity, and to circulate air. The bottom surface of the support part of the cup is provided with arc-shaped supporting elastic plate to alleviate pressure on the heel by absorbing shocks. A midfoot and phalanx support part is formed from the cup bottom toward the midfoot. A lateral longitudinal arc support part is formed from the outer side of the cup bottom toward the midfoot.

  • Publication number: 20140305009
Abstract: A breathing shoe has a network of intercrossing and interconnecting pipes in the outer sole and midsole thereof. Each of the pipes has at least one outlet in communication with the environment in the front and rear position of the shoe. Each of the pipes is formed with several vent holes. Any hole of the outer sole has a semicircular hole opening upward. The midsole has a semicircular hole opening downward corresponding to the outer sole and a vent hole. After the outer sole and the midsole are combined together, the air chamber formed by the two semicircular holes along with the vent holes exchange humid and hot air inside the shoe with the fresh air outside, keeping the inside dry.

  • Publication number: 20140259758
Abstract: A insole with a seahorse reinforcing element is a combination of a soft insole and harder reinforcing element. The reinforcing element is integrally formed with a transverse arch support having the shape similar to the seahorse mouth and crown, an medial longitudinal arch support having the shape of the seahorse vertical body, and a heel support having the shape of the seahorse hooked tail. By strengthening the support of the insole, the invention can prevent discomfort in the transverse arch and the medial longitudinal arch due to sinking. At the same time, the invention reinforces the support for the starting position of walking, thereby saving user's efforts.

  • Publication number: 20140259750
Abstract: An air-cushioned heel with the breathing function has an airbag inside the shoe outsole and recess. The airbag has a panel with a profile compliant with the recess. The bottom of the panel extends downward a plurality of wrinkled sacs. The sacs are connected with intake ducts to extend into the intake passage, and at least one exhaust duct to extend into a vent. In practice, the airbag is compressed/expanded repeatedly to produce a breathing effect, so that air inside the shoe exchanges with the ambient environment. Moreover, the wrinkled sacs can effectively enhance the elastic restoring force of the airbag, to increase the efficiency of the air exchange. It also avoids the drawbacks of elastic fatigue and collapse due to prolonged use of the airbag.

  • Publication number: 20130074366
Abstract: A compound structure of mid-sole and insole is disclosed. A PU outer sole is made into a trough shape in order to reduce the use of PU and thus the weight thereof. The mid-sole and insole are made as a compound of a lightweight material, such as EVA, and disposed inside the trough. The invention thus provides best comfort to the user while the total weight of shoe is effectively reduced.

  • Publication number: 20130074367
Abstract: An insole with the concept of harmonic tai chi consists of an upper pad, a lower pas, and a supporter. The upper pad has an S-shaped vibration absorption block protruding downward on the outer side of the front sole. Corresponding to the vibration absorption block of the upper pad, the lower pad has an S-shaped elastic block on the inner side of the sole. With the harmonic combination of the vibration absorption and elastic blocks, the insole is more suitable to dynamical needs as the user walks. The U-shaped supporter is made of a harder material, fixed on the lower pad and extending from the inner foot arch to the heel, thereby protecting the heel and supporting the inner foot arch.

  • Publication number: 20100146815
Abstract: An insole that functionally adjusts its supporting curvature according to the heel height is disclosed. A first supporting portion is disposed at the metatarsus. A second supporting portion is disposed between the front edge of the calcaneus and the back edge of the metatarsus. The bottom of the second supporting portion is formed with several grooves in the horizontal direction. The width of the grooves is inversely proportional to the heel height, thereby functionally adjusting the supporting curvature.
