Abstract: A compound paper yarn manufacturing device includes a Japanese paper roll, a slitter configured to slit a Japanese paper sheet fed out from the Japanese paper roll to form a plurality of Japanese paper tapes, a distributor configured to distribute the plurality of Japanese paper tapes into each single Japanese paper tape, a plurality of pairs of slip rollers formed by providing a plurality of pieces of a pair of slip rollers that feed out each distributed single Japanese paper tape while slipping, and a covering machine including a plurality of single covering units configured to perform, with a first yarn added, false-twisting on the single Japanese paper tape fed out from the pair of slip rollers, and to cover with a second yarn.

Abstract: A synthetic fiber blend fabric is disclosed. The synthetic fiber blend fabric is a woven fabric that is made from blended yarns each obtained by mix spinning of three or more kinds of fibers including wool fibers, polyester fibers, and acrylic fibers, or is a woven fabric mainly consisting of the blended yarns. Each of the blended yarns contains the three or more kinds of fibers blended therein so as to be approximately uniformly distributed at a prescribed blending ratio along a longitudinal direction of the blended yarn. The blended yarn has a total content of the wool fibers, the polyester fibers, and the acrylic fibers of 90 mass % or more and 100 mass % or less. The acrylic fibers have a fineness of 0.5 dtex or more and 1.4 dtex or less.

Abstract: A Japanese paper yarn manufacturing device according to the present invention that provides a method for mass-production of inexpensive Japanese paper yarns by saving labor includes a slitter that slits a Japanese paper sheet fed out from a Japanese paper roll into a plurality of Japanese paper tapes each having a narrow width in a feeding direction, and a distributing section that distributes the plurality of slit Japanese paper tapes. An air flow section feeds air into a plurality of the tubes of the distributing section, so that the distributed Japanese paper tapes are sent in a floating manner to a plurality of yarn processing device units.

Abstract: A textile with high weave density which comprises a main-yarn made of a Japanese paper yarn and a sub-yarn thinner than the main-yarn interwoven with each other, wherein the textile has a weave texture structure including warps A and wefts A made of the main-yarn, and warps B and wefts B made of the sub-yarn, wherein in the weave texture structure, warp rows have a repeating row structure where a plurality of warps B are located between two warps A and weft rows have a repeating row structure where a plurality of wefts B are located between two wefts A, and wherein the warps A and the wefts A cross each other in a plain weave texture structure.

Abstract: To provide gloss to a woolen fiber by adhering silk fibroin to the woolen fiber firmly and uniformly, a woven woolen fiber subjected to anionic processing is infiltrated with a silk fibroin solution, a cationic polymer resin is dissolved in the solution, and the cationic polymer resin is ion bonded to the woolen fiber to fix silk fibroin fine particles to the woolen fiber.

Abstract: A process for making a multi-ply fabric, which includes the steps of applying a water soluble material, which has no adverse effect on fabrics, around a water insoluble thread to provide a binding yarn; binding a plurality of unit fabrics one upon another with the binding yarn to provide a multi-ply fabric; putting the multi-ply fabric in water to dissolve the water soluble material thereby providing a multi-ply fabric bound with only the water insoluble thread.

Abstract: An outerwear and bag in one for wearing when going out for sports and hiking, is disclosed, which has a pocket section tied to the inner side of the back of the outerwear. When the outerwear and bag in one is taken off, the outerwear can be accommodated in the pocket section into the form of a knapsack which can be carried on the back or shouldered.The pocket section is tied to the inner side of the back of the outerwear. It can be taken with its inner side out to the outside through an opening provided in the back of the outerwear. In this state, the whole outerwear can be inserted into the pocket section, and the pocket section then can be closed by pulling strings provided around the opening. In this state, the outerwear and bag in one can be carried on the back or shouldered.

Abstract: There is disclosed an outerwear which is worn for sports, hiking or the like, having on its back portion a pocket capable of receiving therein the whole outerwear. That is, in the outerwear and bag in one according to the present invention, the bag portion is provided on the outer surface side of the back portion of the outerwear to enable receiving the whole outerwear into the bag portion, and straps for holding the bag portion are provided on the inner surface side of the back portion of the outerwear so that when wearing the outerwear, the straps may be shouldered to prevent the outerwear from being pulled backward by the weight of articles received into the bag portion.

Abstract: A garment is provided with first and second fastener tracks such as to extend transversely across respective front and back parts of its trunk portion. The fastener tracks can be fastened together with a portion of the garment other than a portion under these fastener tracks accommodated in the space defined by the portion under the fastener tracks. In this form, the garment can be used as a knapsack to be carried along on the back. Thus, it is possible to avoid losing the garment after it is taken off. Also, there is no need for the garment to occupy either hand when it is carried along. Further, small-sized goods may be carried along in the knapsack thus formed.

Abstract: Disclosed is new combination garment useful both as a jacket and a bag having a trunk portion for covering the upper half of a human body, and formed with an opening through which a human head passes, sleeve portions through which both arms extend sideways and a head portion detachably secured to the trunk portion, in which the human head is received. When using the trunk portion as a bag, the sleeve portions are received in the trunk portion so that any part of the sleeve portions which doesn't protrude outside and the openings through which the arms and head pass are closed.The first opening is formed at the joint between the trunk portion and sleeve portion so that the latter is received in the former through the first opening. The first opening can be closed by means of a fastener which is operated after receiving the sleeve portions in the trunk portion. In the meanwhile, the second opening is formed at the joint between the trunk portion and head portion and can be closed by a hook device.
