  • Patent number: 7742449
Abstract: At least a mobile terminal 10, base station radio apparatuses 20a and 20b that communicate with the mobile terminal 10, and a radio base station control apparatus 30 that controls the transmission powers of the base station radio apparatuses 20a and 20b are at least provided. When a handover function test is performed between cells that are covered by the base station radio apparatuses 20a and 20b, the radio base station control apparatus 30 calculates a difference between the levels of the reception fields of the base station radio apparatuses 20a and 20b that cover the cells for which the handover test of the mobile terminal 10 is to be performed. Then, the radio base station control apparatus 30 controls the transmission powers of the base station radio apparatuses 20a and 20b so that the difference is equal to or smaller than a predetermined threshold value.

  • Patent number: 6954434
Abstract: A CDMA mobile communication system includes a base station and a mobile station. The base station includes a monitor section, calculating section, and notification section. The monitor section monitors a forward-link transmission power value radiated to the mobile station. When the forward-link transmission power value becomes smaller than a predetermined steady output value, the calculating section calculates system parameter information of the mobile station, which corresponds to the reduced forward-link transmission power value. The notification section notifies the mobile station of the system parameter information of the mobile station. The mobile station includes a transmission power control section.

  • Publication number: 20030129947
Abstract: A data communication terminal device does not narrow a downlink communication area upon transition from stopping state to moving state and can prevent call interruption of other terminal device. The data communication terminal device to be used in a spread spectrum mobile communication system monitors variation of moving condition of the device, and demands change of a data communication rate to a radio base station equipment depending upon a result of monitoring.

  • Patent number: 5630219
Abstract: A reception electric field level detection circuit comprises a frequency conversion circuit, an IF filter and a demodulation circuit for outputting a demodulation signal, which are connected successively to an antenna. The reception electric field level detection circuit further comprises a reception electric field detection circuit for receiving the output of the IF filter as an input thereto and detecting the reception electric field level value of the received wave, and a discrimination circuit. A carrier sent out from a mobile radio unit to a stationary radio unit is received by the antenna and inputted to the demodulation circuit and the reception electric field detection circuit by way of the frequency conversion circuit and the IF filter.

  • Patent number: 5502411
Abstract: A frequency synthesizer is disclosed which has a PLL (Phase Locked Loop) made up of voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), variable frequency divider, phase comparator, charge pump, and loop filter. A reference signal source feeds a reference signal to the phase comparator and comprises a reference signal oscillator and a fixed frequency divider. A first and a second waveform converting circuit each divides respective comparison outputs of the phase comparator to produce a charge control signal voltage and a discharge control signal voltage meant for the charge pump. The division of the output periods of the comparison outputs successfully reduces spurious components which are apart from the center frequency of the synthesizer by integral multiples (inclusive of 1) of the reference frequency.
