  • Patent number: 6890262
Abstract: A 3-dimensional video game apparatus comprises display 40 for displaying an image; image-processing means 16 for creating a 3-dimensional image from the viewpoint of a simulated camera and displaying that image on a display screen; and game controller 14 which conducts the game in response to reactions of the player, responsive to images displayed on display 40. The game apparatus further comprises camera unit 42 which can be arranged in such an orientation that its field of view is the play area in front of the display screen, and which periodically captures images of the play area in the state thus arranged; a position recognizing part which detects the player's head from the captured image, and detects the two-dimensional movement of the detected head position; and viewpoint change processor which moves the viewpoint of said simulated camera in conjunction with the change direction and change amount of the position of the detected marked region.

  • Patent number: 6450886
Abstract: A foot switcher includes: a foot switch sheet having a plurality of pressure switches for detecting steps; and a mat placed under the foot switch sheet, and including a mat body having a plurality of divisions, one division being different from another division in hardness, and a specified number of divisions corresponding to the plurality of pressure switches, respectively. The hardness of one division is different from that of another division adjoining the one division. A top layer for covering the plurality of the pressure switches is formed with slip preventer.

  • Patent number: 6329620
Abstract: A flat foot switch unit has a surface has a slippage-preventing measure. In this, a foot switch section has a four-sided surface shape and step-motion-detectable foot switches internally formed in nine regions by dividing the surface shape in 3×3. Furthermore, the foot switch section has slippage-preventing linear grooves at least in the regions on the surface of the top layer of a first sheet unit, which is part of the surface shape, and in which the foot switches are arranged.
